Chapter 26

Third person POV

Raelyn cries into Aurora's shoulder while Aurora kisses the top of her head. 

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you Ry. I would have used up all the strength I had to knock that jerk off this planet. He doesn't deserve you." she ushers into her head. 

"It's my fault. I should have told you about him. I'm going back into town to change my dress, we had decided on that outfit together." Raelyn says while wiping her eyes. 

"Don't waste your time on him Ry. If you want I can call the store and ask them to change the color of your dress, would you want that?"

Raelyn breaks away from Aurora and looks into her eyes. Before throwing her arms over her making both of them fall into Aurora's bed. 

"Thank youu! That would be great. Your literally the best friend anyone could ever havee." she squeals.

Aurora reminds her that they have to go over to Lavender's place to get treatment for her ankle. 

Once they reach there Raelyn lays down on for Lavendar to put the different medicated wraps on her foot. Which makes her fall asleep with the sleeping spell she put in it as the process of readjusting it was painful. 

As Aurora watches her pass out she turns to Lavender. 

"Soo I had a question, Lav. I think I have more than one power that I can work with and was wondering if you could teach me a thing or two on healing to see if I could do that too. I mean it's fine if you can't I-"

Lavendar raises her eyebrow in suspicion before pulling her into a hug. 

"You know I always knew there was something different about you, Ari. And I'm sure you will use everything thing you learn for the greater good. So of course! I'll fast forward the basics and move onto the healing spells. If that's okay with you?"

Aurora nods to her and smiles in anticipation. 

Lavendar takes Aurora's hand and places it in front of her. 

"You okay with a little prick?" she questions.

"Yeah sure." Aurora says. 

Lavendar takes out a small needle and in quick speed pricks a part of her arm. 

A steady flow of blood comes out like a line and Aurora just stares at how her blood leaves her body. 

"Repeat after me..." Lavendar says. 

To which Aurora repeats. 

"Swipe your index finger across the opening while repeating what I just told you." 

Aurora does as she says and the blood flow completely stops. The only evidence that something ever happened was the stain of the blood that had left her arm. 

Lavendar stares at her arm in astonishment. 

"Omg this is so cool!! How is this even possible? Are you planning on telling the boa-"

"Shhh. Lav I'm not going to tell anyone from the academy board. Only you, Ry and Coralie know. I don't want to turn into a lab rat for these elite people." 

"Oh yeah that's true." she says in agreement.

"Can you show me a few more things before Ry wakes up? Maybe then we won't have to bother you all the time for when we get injured." Aurora laughs. 

"Nonsense! Then you guys will never visit!" she jokes. 

They take an hour or two in practicing on Aurora and though she starts feeling drained, she continues not knowing that there's a meter in which Royal's can detect high levels of magic being used in locations. 

"Oh gosh that was so freaking cool!" Aurora exclaims before hugging Lavendar. 

Once Lavendar releases her she loses her balance and falls to the ground. 

Lavendar bites her lip and gives her a hand. "Maybe that was a bit too much for your first lesson? I think I got a little carried away when you were able to finish all the tasks I gave youu. Sorryy Ari!" she says ashamed. 

"Nonsensee!" Aurora giggles when she finally balances on her two feet. 

Lavendar realizes her mistake as she sees Aurora is using her backup energy at this point to function which is why it's giving her the effects of feeling high. 

Once Ry is awake she tells the situation to her and orders her to go straight back to the dorms so they can rest. She also specifically says to not come across any mentors or higher educated students as they can detect what is going on with Aurora which would not be good for her. 

"Mmm why are there four of youu! I didn't knoww you guyss had twinss! So cutee!" Aurora squeals as she tries going close to them but just trips on air.

Raelyn and Lavendar look at each other in worry before helping her stand straight. 

"Okay so you know what to do. Classes for other students should have finished so chances of you bumping into any of them isn't high. Use a protection spell on her if you really need to. Your ankle isn't fully healed and most of your energy was taken for the medications. I would have come with you but I have to attend a meeting with some other healers in about 10 minutes. Take care you two." 

They both bid each other goodbye before Raelyn grabs Aurora's shoulders and starts to walk her towards their dorms.
