I wanted to throw up; not literal, but my stomach churned and I even felt light headed from what I was experiencing at the moment.
To make it worst, the faint breeze of Ireland swished on me, making my hair go all over the place as I walked out the entrance of The Horan's. For just this once, I hated Ireland's weather.
I could've said to make it better, but when you are feet away from someone you idolized in the past without them having a clue...it was embarrassing within oneself.
"M'sorry about that. I just really thought Greg had gotten himself another car." Niall chuckled, pointing towards my vehicle.
Listening to Niall Horan talk was entertaining already, but listening to him talk in real life? The accent was thick and deep. How was I suppose to pretend everything was completely normal with that?
"Don't blame you. It's alright." I almost choked out, keeping my gaze at my own car.
A literal wuss I was. Avoiding to even look at him or even speak clearly? I really needed a slap in the face for my actions, but sometimes...my brain couldn't even process what was happening, I don't even blame it.
Distracted by my own thoughts, I hadn't even realized that Niall had hopped onto his own, gray, new of the year, car; starting it and almost like waiting for me to jump onto my own and reverse along.
Swallowing my own saliva, I gave myself a nod and shakily, I opened my own car door before hoping inside the driver's seat and cursing to myself as I shut the door.
"Shit, shit, shit," I breathed. "Stop shaking, Elle. He's not even at view anymore." I spoke to myself, eyeing my shaky hand as it inserted the key onto the engine. "Stop being a weirdo."
Adjusting my rear mirror, I took a glimpse back, checking to see if Niall had move and surprisingly, the driveway was clear.
My body jumped at a soft car horn and when I looked at my side window, Niall's car was now next to me. He gave a half smile and wave, signaling if it was enough space for me to exit.
For a second, I felt like my whole body couldn't function, almost asking myself on what to signal back, but coming back to reality, I gave a nervous thumbs up at him and drove off in speed.
Niall
"Did she get out safely?" Greg questioned the moment I entered back onto the home.
Closing the heavy entrance door behind me, I gave a small nod and let out a breath.
"Uh, y-yeah. Drove off the second I left the space." I said, almost in confusion.
The babysitter was hard to read within those five minutes outside. It wasn't that I was trying to get to know her with such little time, but with all those minutes, only like three words came out of her.
"Yeah, don't blame the rush. Have to hit Mullingar to Longford, morning and night." Denise huffed at the thought.
I rose a brow, "Oi, that's a drive. Like, what? Thirty-five? Forty with stops?"
"Yep,"
"Who would want to drive so much like that everyday?" Hailee said exaggeratedly.
