CHAPTER 11

Present time

Stepping into business taught Chenle patience. He believes his mind got to work 24/7 nonstop, and he had to activate his senses even in sleep.

Ever since his father appointed him as the head manager of Zhong Group's comic department, Chenle has learned his way through the arts. In order to communicate with team managers about plots and multimedia, Chenle took a filler course focused on the field.

Apparently, the arts made him more appreciative and positive of his surroundings, and he always connected them to business matters, which made him more understanding yet still strict.

It was a year ago when his marriage to Cali took a 360-degree turn, and she ended up marrying his older brother, who unintentionally made her pregnant. Chenle never thanked the lust between an alpha and an omega as much as he did when it happened.

Since he already proved that he was worthy of the position, his father didn't back down on his promise and let Chenle choose his path within their business. The merge with Cali's family still happened, even if it didn't go according to the original plan.

Swearing to turn his life in the right direction, Chenle hired Detective Son to find Sulhee. The detective had an easy job for a few days, but not until the omega went out of his radar.

Song Sulhee and her family disappeared without a trace. Even Renjun and their other friends don't know where they went.

Now, after almost two years, Chenle's car decided to play cupid and gifted him with a sight he never thought he would see.

Song Sulhee is pushing a baby stroller.

It was instinct, he believes. Chenle just knew that the baby was theirs. Chenle knows it because he accidentally claimed Sulhee, and they were capable of making a baby at that moment.

"So, what are you planning?" Jisung asks.

"Detective Son is tracing her address."

"So, you're going to let the detective do everything?"

Chenle raised a brow. "How can I even do anything if I don't know where she is? I'll use all the help that I can, Ji. What matters is that Sulhee came back, and with a baby."

"I still can't believe that you're a dad now. Like legit," Jisung wolf-whistled. "You should tell Mark that he has a baby brother."

"Park Jisung, get out."

"Aye!" Jisung immediately stood up and saluted, dismissing himself out of the head manager's office.

Chenle threw his head back and rode the swivel chair in circles. There's so many plans that's filling his mind, but he can't do one of them because he doesn't know where she is.

Step one: find Sulhee.

If you find her.. if you find her.. then..

"I should make things clear," Chenle mumbled, like it was an easy thing to do.
