Karina's team went directly to their studio after a meeting with Jaemin. They were discussing new marketing strategies to promote the book series and the proposal made by a film company to turn the book into a movie. The team is all over the moon! They didn't expect that such a big opportunity would knock on the door.

Anyway, Karina has been in tears ever since the meeting was adjourned. Jaemin told her that the CEO will most likely schedule another meeting with her and the producer from the film company. Both Jeno and Sulhee comforted her, but the baby in the playpen laughed at her. It made them all laugh, too.

"Gosh, I'll be picking actors and actresses myself!" Karina excitedly said. "I already have lists, though."

"There she is. In the end, she's already expecting a movie adaptation anytime," Jeno snickered.

"That's a lifelong dream, idiot! I know some writers have that dream too. Like, imagine having your book recognized by the film industry? I might die."

"Then die"

"You guys are children." Sulhee chuckled at her friends' bickers. "Anyway, calm down, Rin. You should prepare too. The producers might ask you something regarding what you want for the movie."

"I'm going to start planning!" Karina enthusiastically answered and went to her workspace to do what she wanted.

Jeno and Sulhee can just share a look and shrug. They're happy, of course, especially for Karina. They would tease her forever, but they love her.

Anyway, they are just chilling inside the studio. Jeno is playing a video game, while Sulhee is feeding Daehoon. They're just passing time in their own space, while Karina is busy mapping out her plans for the movie.

Everything's well, until Daehoon suddenly whined. The baby started throwing tantrums, filling the studio with his cries and the sounds of toys being thrown.

"Shhh, baby, what do you want?" Sulhee tried to make the baby talk while stopping him from throwing his stuff.

"Dada!" Daehoon cried in demand. "Dada! Dada!" he continuously said.

"Maybe he wants Chenle," Karina said, who is now crouching beside Sulhee. She pats the baby's back. "Don't cry, Hoonie."

"You should call Chenle," Jeno said while picking up the toys that the baby threw out of the playpen.

"I want to, but what if he's in the meeting or just generally busy?" Sulhee worries while making the baby stop crying.

"When's the last time they met?" Karina asked.

"Last Sunday"

"It's not long," she hummed. "Maybe their bond is already strong enough for Daehoon to demand his presence every day. Does he whine for Chenle like this before?"

"He asks for him, but not like this." Sulhee sighs. "Can you hold him for a minute? I'll just text Chenle."

Karina only nodded and motioned for Jeno to help her.

Sulhee texted the alpha about what he's doing. She doesn't want to call him so suddenly, worried that she might disturb him. Chenle's workload isn't easy to drop.
