Mwapsss!
Epilogue
"Brother, do you like her?" Archer, my younger brother, asked teasingly. I looked at him in disbelief, as if something were truly disgusting.
We spotted Mr. Villarica's daughter in the distance. What's her name again? Zhari? Yeah, that rings a bell. One reason I don't like her is because she's too young for me. I can't imagine myself being attracted to her. It's disgusting, you know.
Tss.
I hate her. She's pretty loud and annoying. And not to mention I used to despise her because she's a spoiled brat. I hate spoiled brat girls. Not my type.
I'm planning to take the board exam after school year.
I was offered to be a substitute teacher for Sir Chad. It wasn't meant to be a long-term thing since we're just waiting for his recovery. Since some of the teachers here knew I really need a job, they offered me the opportunity.
To my surprise, she's the class president of their class. Then, I began explaining everything to them.
After the brief discussion about the situation, huli rin siyang lumabas ng classroom.
"Ang sungit." I heard her murmured. Bahagyang tumaas ang kilay ko sa narinig. Did she just said I'm masungit?
"I heard that Ms. Villarica," I said darkly. She turned to me with wide eyes. Nagmadali pa itong umalis sa sobrang gulat. A small smirked crept into my lips pero agad ding nagseryoso nang ma-realize ko ang ginagawa ko.
"I know you're looking for another job." sambit ni Mr. Villarica nang tinawagan niya akong bisitahin siya sa opisina nito isang araw. Zhari's dad had become my friend. Mabait ito sa akin. I truly appreciated how genuine he was with everyone.
I don't know, I just love staring at her. And why is that? I don't really fucking know.
In the middle of our tutoring session, bigla na lang bumagsak ang ulan. And here we are, in their expansive library, just the two of us.
"Paano ka uuwi?" she asked, pouting her lips. I swallowed hard, quickly averting my gaze from her.
I swallowed several times before looking back at her. I met her gaze with a dark intensity. "Titila naman siguro mamaya ang ulan..."
