Phoenix POV:

I tried everything I could to calm down after speaking to my father about not being able to connect or feel my dad. As time went the uneasiness kept growing.

I finally connected with my mom asking her connect me with Blaze, my dad's wolf, and after trying fir twenty minutes or so I was able connect with Blaze. I was hoping this would help ease my uneasiness but unfortunately the uneasiness only increased from Blaze's simple short answers.

After contemplating if I should the only means to get to my dad as quick as possible, I finally contacted the hidden entity hiding inside my dad and asked her to teleport me to my dad's locations. I knew asking her would only reveal the hidden entity to the warlock,  but as our Moon Goddess had said the entity was there to help my dad.

I waited impatiently for her to teleport to my dad's location.  After she finally gave in to my demand I kissed both my mate's and disappeared from Nezms room.

As soon as I appeared in the location my dad was being held my blood boil and my rage took over. This frail looking man was hovering over my bearly breathing, beaten and half naked dad.

I was fuming.

How could Blaze say they were fine?

"MOVED"! I demanded and the frail looking man backed away. I knew his appearance was fake. He only looked frail from the outside, most likely to disceave those around him just in case he git caught.  Little does this man know I can see through any supernatural creature and witness their true character.

'I was just trying to help the Luna to his feet'. The man spoke softly.  I silently sneered knowing his true intent.

"Stay away from my dad". I all but gritted out. I was trying to focus on my dad to figure out what this thing had done to my dad.

'He is fine, just a little weak'. The thing said, standing up and walking towards my dad. I could hear his underlining smirk while he tried to sound weak and fragile.

"I said stay away". I gritted. Cypress was trying to take control. My dad has never been waek and hearing someone or something referring to him as weak pi$$e$ Cypress off.

'Please sir, I am only trying to heal him'. The man said. And that's all I needed to hear to know that this man had put my dad under some sort of spell to make Blaze believe they were fine.

Rage started rolling off of me in waves as the man stood so close to my dad that my dad didn't even react. I lost myself as soon as the man touched my dad.

"Father".

I called out to my father before partially shifting into Cypress.  Grabbing the man I threw him towards the stone wall. Without letting the man stand I began beating him.  I released as much as I could, remember how waek my dad looked. I do not know all what this man had done to my dad while my dad was deserved to believe he was fine, just partially in mobile.

'Stop'. The man said. I shook my head. He didn't sound as confident or frail like he acted just moments ago.

'I am the only one that can cure your dad'. The man said. I gritted my teeth and slammed my fist deep against his face breaking his nose.

"You do not know how powerful I am". I spat at the man and continued to pound my fist against his face.

'How'. I heard as soon as the heavy door opened, halting my actions momentarily, but only momentarily. I could feel my father standing beside me and placed his hand on mine.

'It's okay Phoenix'. 'Cypress give full control back to Phoenix'. My father said. As Cypress gave me back control I could feel warm tears stream down my face and the rage leave my body. I clasped  in my father's arms.

'You did Phoenix' I heard my dad say and I smiled.  I watched as my aunt Merida and uncle Jackson helped my dad to stand and dress him. I also watched the storm that was brewing in my father's eyes just a moment ago disappeared. 

Uneasiness once again flooded my scenes. I remember that my dad once said a quiet Laurent is a scary Laurent and to see my father stand next to my dad with a calming aura scared even me.

'Thank you Phoenix'. I heard both my dad and father say at the same time confusing me.

'We knew that you being close to your dad, you would be the only one to understand what was happening to your dad, if we just kept telling you he was fine'. My father explained.  I just nodded my head not really understanding what he meant.

'Your dad and you hold a special bond'. 'That is why you are able to see and talk to your mom'. 'We knew your uneasiness would grow the more you were unable to feel your dad's presence, and when you talked to Blaze and he gave you just enough information that you wouldn't feel at ease, we knew you would find a way to get to your dad before something terrible happened to him'. My father explained.  I felt pride knowing I knew my dad and his wolf enough to know that there truly was something wrong with my dad.

"Why didn't you just tell yourself"? I asked my father, and that is when the warlock I had long forgotten about decided to speak.

'Your father was afraid I would turn his mate against him if I read his mind knowing he had another plan'. The warlock spoke. I gritted my teeth angerliy but chose not to lash out. I could feel my father's aura changing dangerously dark. Something I had never felt coming from my father before.

'You think I was afraid of my mate choosing you'? My father asked the man calmly. I watched as the man shrunk in the corner scared. I silently watched and understood why my dad had said that about my father.

Anything I had just done to this man is nothing compared to what my father has planned for him.
