Phoenix POV:

I sat in my father's office chair while staring at my dad and father's interaction. The love I felt not only through out mate bond but also from the loving waves they both radiated made me feel peace, calm and happiness. Inspired watching them cherishing each other. I sighed once I heard a knock at the door.

'Come in'. My father said.

The warrior walked inside my father's office and bowed before he spoke to my father.

'Alpha Laurent, the warlock and his followers, the ones that had not been dealt with, have been put in cages and chained up'. 'My lady Meridia has place the warlock under the magical surveillance as you had requested'. 'King Egon is standing watch'. The warrior explained quickly. I watched as father nodded and then dismissed his warrior.

I stay seated in my father's office chair and waited for him to explain to me what he had wanted to explain to me while we were in the cave like hut. I had asked over and over for an explanation and other than his quick reply he gave I felt as though there was something else he wanted to say. I was right, he did and now I am just waiting for him to give me a full explanation.

"Father". I sighed. I know he is trying to comfort my dad and make sure my dad is okay before he turned his attention on me. I smiled as I watched my father wrap my dad in a blanket as my dad slept.

'Okay Phoenix I'm ready to explain everything'. My father said sitting in front of me. I took a deep breath and waited for him to talk.

'As you know when your dad first came to my pack my worthless father did everything he could to make me reject your dad and when I refused he deviced a plan with his most trusted warriors to wolfnap your dad, in hopes he could brainwash me that your dad had just simply left me and tried to get me to take his friends daughter as my chosen mate'. 'As you can see all his plans didn't work causing his death, but his death was postponed because of the useless Elders and even some of the supernatural council that wanted proof, but eventually I ended his and his warriors lifes'. 'Everything started to settle down and your dad got pregnant with your older siblings and someone whom claimed to be his family came to see him only to stab him causing him to give birth to your sibling's sooner than his due date'. 'A few things happened afterwards'. 'I was in a coma and your dad left the pack because our bond somehow disappeared, our Moon Goddess warned Beast to keep watch and stay alert cause something big was coming'. 'After refinding your dad, I messed up again and your dad threatened to leave, but thankfully we worked through everything, found the witch that held a grudge against your mother'. 'Well throughout the years we started to live happily, your dad became pregnant with you and your siblings, unfortunately though when he gave birth to your siblings, you refused to come out'. 'It took three days for your dad to give birth to you with the help of your mother and her mate Alaric, and our Moon Goddess'. 'You see because you were late and very weak, your mother along with her mate Alaric, asked our Moon Goddess to use some of their essence to save you'. 'As you know throughout your life growing up, you are the only one that has a relationship with your mother, and is also the only one that was told about the unknown entity left behind in your dad after you were born'. 'You are extremely clise to your dad, closer than any of your other five siblings and up until you were about four you never let anyone except your dad to hold you, I wasn't able to hold you that often'. My father explained tiredly. I nodded knowing almost all this, I felt bad knowing I refused to be held by my father when I was younger, but I am glad to have his as my father. I did not know I wasn't born on the same day as my siblings, because we had always shared the same birthdate. I sighed and waited to hear if there was anything else my father had to say. I watched as he took a deep breath and began to speak again.

'I know that it may have felt like we were playing a trick on you by nit telling you exactly what was happening to your dad, but the things is, we were not sure if the warlock was able to read our minds or not so we had came up with a solution just in case anyone was listening to our minds'. 'We all knew you being the closest to your dad would be able to pick up on that something just wasn't right, and I am so proud of you that you listened to your heart'. My father explained and I smiled.

'I have a question though'. My father said.

"Go ahead and ask". I told him.

'How did you appear without a scent'? My father asked me. I smiled and replied to him.

"I asked Mika, (the unknown entity in my dad) to teleport me inside instead of shimmering". "When you shimmering your scent shows up before you do, but no one can smell when you teleport, because you show up at the same time your scent does". I explained. My father knew about teleporting because that's how uncle Jackson and uncle Egon shows up when they visit unannounced. My father also knew about shimmering because that's how aunt Merida shows up quickly.

'That explains why I was so surprised to see you'. 'I didn't even smell you on the other side of the door until the door was opened' my father explained. I nodded my head. We sat quietly for a moment before I asked my father what he planned to do with those whom hurt my dad, his mate.

'Don't worry about that Phoenix, all those who had a hand in this plan will definitely pay'. 'That useless warlock will suffer slowly and extremely painfully'. My father said with a smirk. I smiled remembering my dad's words once again.

'You should either ask your mate's to return here or you should return to your mate's'. My father said.
