Laurent's POV:

Oh sh!t! I heard Larry growl out in his sleep, sitting up suddenly. Puzzled at his actions, I sat in my chair next to my desk waiting for his explanation, but after after five minutes of him not saying anything I decided to ask him about what had happened to make him act the way he is acting, but stop when I smelt the most disgusting scent I have ever smelt hit my nostrils. I felt the sudden urge to puke, but I forced myself to calm down. I needed to figure out what was going on and where that putrid smell came from.

After realizing where the smell is coming from my eyes grew unbelievable large, sh!t I thought to myself. Before I had a chance to talk to Larry I was staring at Larry still waiting for him to say something, but instead I watched as he ran out my office door without saying anything to me.

Sh!t!! I growled and followed my mate towards Nezm/Blaze's room.

'Nezm is in heat'. Blaze muttered to me. I nodded my head in agreement. This is all we need right now. An unmated werewolf in my pack house going through his heat while he lays in a coma, stuck inside his four walled room with his mate's. I sighed heavily and continued running after my mate.

We reached Nezm's room and the sight in front of me made my blood boil.

'Laurent we need to stop Phoenix'. Larry said in a panicked voice through our link. I stared at my mate not understanding why he wants me to stop our son from fighting the guards that are holding him and Roswell down while a unmated she-wolf is trying to take advantage of Nezm.

'Why'? Was all I was able to link him before I was surrounded by unknown guards.

'Laurent please'. Larry begged me. I just shook my head not understanding why my mate, my son's dad wants me to stop our son from force shifting to prevent the unknown she-wolf to mate with our son's mate

I growled dangerously loud as I smelt the she-wolfs arousal. She is enjoying this. She thinks she has the upper hand right now.

'Alpha Laurent, Luna Larry, I am so glad you are here'. 'I need witnesses to my mating with Nezm'. The unknown she-wolf gloated smugly. I just smiled at her.

Little does this she-wolf know Jackson has just arrived and because he teleported to my pack no one knows he's here inside the room.

'Don't touch my mate's. I heard Roswell growl out for the first time since I walked into the room.

'He won't be your mate for long'. The she-wolf said happily.

I heard a very dangerous chuckle coming from someone inside the room. That's when I finally smelt the others inside the room. I knew there were seven guards, I smelt them right away. The unknown she-wolf that is still slowly moving towards Nezm's bed.

(Not sure why she is taking this long to 'claim' Nezm, but whatever.)

The final scent caused me to lose my balance for a moment. Inside the room was Meridia the sage, now a powerful witch, Larry's friend and the one every body has been looking for.

I watched as Larry lost his footing and crumbled to the ground, holding his chest as tears rolled down his cheeks.

Anger grew inside of me.

All's I could see red as my mate fell apart, understanding how a unknown she-wolf and seven guards were able to get into our pack without being stopped by the guards.

Meridia had brought them with her, and with them she brought her betrayal and broke my mate. I don't know how I managed to get out of the guards grip but as I did and as soon as I did, I wrapped my fingers around Meridia's throat and squeezed.

All the times she had helped us, and we had helped her flashed through my mind as my grip around her neck tightened.

'Laurent please'. Meridia whispered. I growled in her face.

'It's Alpha Laurent to you'. I soat out angerly.

I watched as both Meridia and My beautiful broken mate was trying to catch their breaths. I felt useless as my mate continued to crumble on the floor.

'You see what you did'? 'Look at my mate, your friend'. 'Look what your betrayal has done to him'. 'He was the one whom helped you get to where you are today'. 'He was the one that had stood by you when your beloved cheated on you'. I gritted out tightening my grip around her neck.

'It's not what it looks like Alpha Laurent'. She whispered out softly. I'm not sure why but when she called me Alpha, I didn't feel good. She was one of Larry's most trusted friends and we never allowed her to call us Alpha or Luna.

Something didn't feel right. I loosened my grip around her neck, but still held my hand there just in case someone was watching us. Using our pack link I asked her where her mate and children are, after asking her I watched as tears rolled down her face, that's when I understood what was happening.

'Tell me why are you doing this'. I spoke to her where the guards can hear us, again just in case someone is watching us.

'I have no choice'. She replied, but through our link she explained that the one doing this has taken her girl's and threatened to harm them if she didn't help them.

'Who is doing this'? 'Wait you said they have your girls right'. 'Where is your son's? I asked her through our link.

'He was patrolling with his father'. She replied sadly. I growled through our link but not at her even though it made her flinch.

'Why does this always happen with my family and loved ones'? I asked myself.

'Alpha Laurent, please I have to do this'. Meridia whispered out. I nodded understanding her.

I linked Larry and explained everything to him. If course he said he already knew because he was listening in on our linked conversation, he also said he has to still continue to feel betrayed by Meridia or the one who is doing this will know that Meridia share a pack-link with us and it could cause Meridia to lose her children. I nodded internally, understanding what he meant.

'Jackson grab the she-wolf, but don't hurt her, we need to allow her to 'mate' with Nezm for their plan to work's. I linked him. I knew he knew what Meridia and I had talked about, because I felt his presence as we spoke through our link. He like Larry knew that Meridia would never betray us unless she had no choice.

'Meridia you need to tell the guards to let Phoenix go before he shifts'. I spoke calmly and clearly, but in my Alpha voice. I watched as she fought to disobey my order, but since she is mated to one of my warriors, she has to follow my command.

'Let Phoenix go, it doesn't matter what his plan is, I will have his mate's. The still unknown she-wolf spat out. I smirked as soon as I seen Jackson come out of the shadows and knocked her unconscious.

Meridia knocked the guards unconscious, freeing both Phoenix and Roswell.

'Plant her mating with Nezm in her head, a long with the guards so that the vision will be able to be seen by the one whom is doing this'. Larry said calmly.

'What if they can see that it is a planted memory'? Meridia asked.

'It won't look planted because I will be helping you plant it'. 'Also plant the image in Nezm mind as well'. 'Even though he won't remember right away, he'll get the images of him mating with this she-wolf as soon as he wakes up, making their plan that much more believable'. Larry spoke slowly, yet eeriely calm.

'How are we going to plant the mate mark on her'? Jackson asked.

'We won't, they know Nezm is unconscious, so he wouldn't be able to mark her'. 'If we plant the mark, they will figure out what we had done'. Larry said walking out of Nezm's room, followed by both Phoenix and Roswell.
