Roswell's POV:

I was kinda hurt after Phoenix flew out of his room without saying anything to me.

But  I was really hurt after he figured I had not followed him to wherever he was running off too. To make me hurt even more was instead of apologizing to me he asked me to contact my father about a potential threat to all supernatural kind.

It wasn't until his father Alpha Laurent explained to me exactly what had happened and where to find my mate's.

At first I felt guilty for getting upset with Phoenix for not telling me why he rushed out of his room suddenly, but then I remembered he didn't even notice I wasn't with him.

Call me selfish, but I came here to fix our misunderstanding and move forward with our relationship.

I sighed heavily after reaching the pack hospital where Nezm is currently. I hesitated before knocking on his room door, but eventually I knocked and a very worried looking Phoenix opened the door. I felt a sharp pain stab my heart at the sight of my beautiful mate.

'How is he's? I asked him with worry laced voice.

I heard him sigh heavily, which caused more stabbing pain in my heart.

"The pack doctor said he'll be okay, but he is not sure in what condition Nezm will be in once he wakes up". Phoenix explained sighing heavily once again.

Without saying anything I wrapped my arms around my mate trying to give him some comfort, he stilled in my arms briefly, but quickly relaxed in my arms which made me happy.

If I cannot do anything for him other than give him comfort than that's what I'll do for as long as he needs and wants me to.

"I read your thoughts although unintentionally, I want you to know that I am sorry for not informing you about what happened before rushing out of my room". "If it wasn't an emergency I most likely would have stopped and told you what had happened". "I truly am sorry". I heard Phoenix explain in an almost whispered voice.

I squeezed my arms around him tighter.

'I am sorry I got upset'. 'If something had happened to you I probably would have acted the same way'. 'I understand you have history with Nezm before even knowing he was your mate, so I
understand'. 'Was I hurt yes, but after your father explained what had happened, I felt guilty for feeling the way I felt'. I explained to him softly.

Yes I was hurt but after seeing the worry on Phoenix face to my hurt turned into guilt.

I sighed and placed my head in the crook of Phoenix neck and sat beside him while we watch our mate sleep.

Some time later, not exactly sure if it was just minutes or actually hours, Luna Larry came into the room followed by my parents carrying trays of food.

I smiled and got up from the chair, and walked towards my parents giving them a hug. I reached for the trays Luna Larry was carrying, placing them on the table near the door.

"Dad are you okay"? I heard Phoenix ask his dad almost to quiet for anyone to hear.

'No Phoenix I am not okay'. Luna Larry replied almost rushing out his response. I waited for another question from Phoenix but none came making me curious.

I looked at my mate and then at his dad and realized they were having a conversation through their link.

'Roswell how are you doing'? I heard my mother ask me. I just shrugged my shoulders because to be honest I do not know how I am feeling right now.

'Roswell, I know it's hard trying to be there for your mate, offering comfort and support while he deals with is going on, and also try and be there for your other mate you have yet to get to know, but trust me everything will work it self out'. My mother said. I sighed nodding my head in agreement.

'Come let's eat'. I heard Luna Larry say. We all gathered around the table in the room and began eating the food our parents brought us. We sat in silence, not an awkward silence, just silence. Which was nice because my wolf was upset that our mate was worried and he was even worried about Nezm.

'I am only worried because he is mate's, mate'. Cypress my wolf scoffed. I silently chuckled in my head at his words.

'Sure wolf, what ever you say'. I scoffed back at him. I must have been lost in my own head because Luna Larry addressing my father brought me out of my head

'King Kyrie, I am not exactly sure what had happened'. Luna Larry said.

'Larry stop calling me King'. I father said sounding a little annoyed causing my mother and Luna Larry to chuckle at my father.

'Yeah, yeah sure, okay'. Luna Larry said still chuckling.

'As I was saying Kyrie, Queen Jackson is the one that said this has happened before, but the one that had done this was believed to be dead'. Luna Larry explained to my father. I watched as my father nodded his head, I'm not sure if it was because he was agreeing with Luna Larry or because he was in his thinking mood.

He tends to nod a lot while he is thinking.

'Where us Jackson now'? My father asked, no one but every one in the room. I and Phoenix shrugged our shoulders and so did Luna Larry, but Luna Larry followed his shoulder shrug by saying something.

'Probably went to get King Egon and Blaze'. Luna Larry said. Once again my father began to nod his head. This time I knew it was because he was thinking.

'Honey let's leave Roswell and Phoenix here to watch over there mate and wait for Egon and Blaze to come'. 'I haven't seen either one of those men since Blaze (Nezm) and Beast' turned seventeen and they shifted for the first time'. My mother told my father.

'Okay'. Was all my father replied. They got up from the table, hugging both Phoenix and I before leaving the room.

I sighed and stared at my mate.

'How are you feeling'? I asked him even though I can feel how he is feeling. I want him to tell me his self.

"I am all over the place right now". "I am mad because of what Nezm had done to me". "I am pi$$ed because there is a new threat that no saw coming". "But most of all I am worried". He explained. I wrapped my arms around him once again and just held him.
