Phoenix POV:

The month is finally over and my family and friends can come to visit me. I truly cannot wait.

I have a lot to tell everyone, especially my mate whom I am told insisted to come visit me as soon as the month was over. I just shrugged it off as him getting a small amount of payback from all the pain I had suppressed over the last two years, except for me I hadn't slept with Roswell.

Over the last couple weeks we have been spending a lot of time together and throughout our time together we have kissed, held hands and cuddled on my mine or Roswell's bed as we watched movies.

I can feel that Roswell wants to do more than just kiss and cuddle, but after I explained to him that for one I am just fifteen and not quite ready yet, (even though in the supernatural community once we reach fifteen and find our mate or mate's in my case mate's we can have a sexual relationship with our mate.) And second I want to tell Nezm about mine or possibly our mate.

At first he was upset and rightfully so, but we continued to talk about everything and he finally understood why I wanted to wait.   Especially after talking to the Moon Goddess again and I had asked her if both Nezm and Roswell are my mate's, does that mean that they are also each other's mate's?

She didn't exactly answer me in words but did nod her head at me. Then in class a day or two later the Elder explained that it's rare for one supernatural creature to have two mate's and his/her two mate's aren't mate's.

I was still a little confused but after class I did feel a little better.

'I'm not sure I will be able to watch as your mate kisses and hugs you'. Roswell said bringing me out of my thoughts. We are currently finishing up our homework so we can spend time together before my family and friends come to visit me. I sighed and stared at him before thinking carefully of what to say. It's the same thing he has said since we have been hanging out. In truth I don't know if I would be able to watch him hug and kiss someone else either.

"Babe, you heard what the Elder said". "You and Nezm might also be mate's". I explained getting off the floor walking closer to him.

"What if you two are also mate's"? I asked nervously. I hated the idea of having to share either one of them, but if all three of us are mate's I have no choice and neither does either of them. I heard him sigh wrapping his arms around my waist bringing me closer to his chest.

I took a deep breath, breathing in his intoxicating scent and sighed contently in his arms.

'After what he has put you through'. 'You think I want a mate like that'? 'A mate that doesn't respect the mate bond'? He explained, asked me sternly. I shook my head, then nodded.

"It will all work out". I told him squeezing him tightly. We finished our homework just as my family and friends showed up for their visit. We hugged and had small talk until a friend of Roswell showed up.

Not sure exactly what happened, or how it happened but I was holding the vampire up against the wall growling in his face. Both Roswell and Nezm was trying to calm me down but nothing worked. I only saw red the moment this vampire held my mate.

'It's okay Phoenix, let him go'. I heard my dad say trying to calm me down also. I shook my head not doing as he said.

'PHOENIX, DO AS YOUR DAD SAID'. My father growled out shaking the Academy's hall's. Shocked I backed away from the now gasping vampire and ran towards my room.

'Son it'll be okay'. My dad linked me.

"No it won't". I whispered yelled through our link.

"Nothing will be okay". I linked again sadly.

'Phoenix I know you think that, but trust me son it'll be okay'. My dad linked sternly.

I sat on my bed trying to figure out why I acted the way I did. Whenever Nezm is with someone else yes it hurt but I never acted out like I just did.

'Phoenix I believe you have my gift'. My dad said through my bedroom door. I hadn't even noticed he was on the other side knocking on it until he spoke. I sighed heavily got off my bed and opened the door. To my surprise my dad and Queen Isabel was standing in the hallway.

'Phoenix can you hear me'? I heard Queen Isabel say, but she wasn't speaking through a pack link or even though her mouth. I gasped realizing she spoke to me using her mind.

'You heard her son'? My dad asked me. I nodded my head not able to find the words to answer him.

'Just as I thought'. 'You have my gift'. My dad said, sounding sad.

"Why does this upset you dad"? I asked gently. My dad wrapped me in his arms and began explaining to me how one of his gifts is to be able to hear thoughts in other supernatural creatures not just werewolves. He also explained that some times he cannot control when he reads a person mind. I nodded understanding.

The last thing I remembered before pinning the young vampire against the wall was hearing him think about how beautiful my mate would look naked under him.

'I heard his thoughts too'. My dad said. I gasped lightly staring at my dad. My dad nodded his head letting me know he understood why I lost myself.

'Can you explain to me what happened'? Queen Isabel asked. I continued to stare at my dad afraid to look at the Queen as I explained to her what happened. After I finished explaining everything to her, she just stared at me without saying anything. I wanted to read her thoughts but I didn't want to lose her trust.

'I knew your dad Larry had this gift, but I wasn't sure if any of you pup's would gain it'. 'I am sorry for Maxwell's words even though he hadn't said them out loud'. Queen Isabel said, apologizing for my behavior. I shook my head no.

"I am the one that needs to apologize not you". "I lost my temper because of thoughts that were never said". I explained.

"I am sorry". I apologized. We sat on my bed for a few minutes before we all decided to head back down towards the hall.

We walked in silence, and the closer I got the angrily I got. I can hear the vampire's thoughts so clearly as though he is voicing them out loud.

"Dad". I whimpered out.

'I know son, I know'. My dad replied wrapping his arm around my waist trying to comfort me.

"Moon Goddess please help me". I prayed
