Roswell's POV:

It took me almost three full days before I got permission from Alpha Laurent to allow me to visit his pack.

I'm not sure if it was because after the second day of him denying me I actually contacted Luna Larry and explained to him what I wanted to do.

He said he would allow me to visit, but I still needed Alpha Laurent's permission and on my third attempt Alpha Laurent finally agreed to allow me to visit his pack. Unfortunately though he wouldn't let me visit unless he spoke to my parents and they agreed too.

I sighed heavily waiting for my father to yell at me for wanting to leave but surprisingly my mother agreed it was for the best that I visit my mate's pack and fix the issue I unintentionally created by myself, and because my mother agreed my father also agreed.

I smiled slightly and gave both my parents a hug and attempted to leave my father's office. My mother called me stopping me at the office door.

'Yes'. I answered her.

'You will take two Royal guards with you'. My mother sternly said.

I sighed and turned around to look both my parents in the eye, trying to protest my mother's request. Before I was able to protest my father sternly enforced what my mother said.

'DO NOT Disagree'. 'You are the crown prince of the werewolves'. 'Any enemy or other supernatural creature will use you for their own purpose'. 'Look what happened with 'that' best friend of yours'. My father practically growling as he explained to me why I needed to take two Royal guards. I sighed once again and nodded my head agreeing with my parents.

'I have no doubt Alpha Laurent, and the rest of his pack will protect you, but until you are safely on his pack land I need to know you are safe'. My mother said softly. I smiled and hugged my mother. After wishing both my parents goodbye I went to my room and grabbed my suitcase.

(I had it packed almost as soon as I was done reading Phoenix letter)

I waited in the main hall for my guards. What seemed like an eternity my guards finally showed up.

'Are you ready Prince Roswell'? Guard one asked me.

'Yes'. I simply answered.

'Prince Roswell, which vehicle are we taking'. Guard two asked me. I sighed and stared at both my father's trusted Royal guards. For the life of me I can't remember either one of their names right now. I'm not sure if it's because I have never had to use the Royal guards before, or because I have not been introduced to them yet.

'Before we go anywhere I need both of your names'. 'I do not want to be addressing you as Royal guard one and Royal guard two's. I told them.

'I am Bruce'. Guard one said.

'I am Liam'. Guard two said.

I nodded my head happily.

'Okay now let's go'. 'We will take my mate's birthday present'. I told them.

You must be wondering why I chose that vehicle instead of one of mine. We'll it's because Phoenix birthday is on Friday and I wanted to give him the car I bought for him. It's not an after thought birthday gift. I actually bought it about four months after he arrived at the Alpha Academy, but I kept it hidden from him waiting for his birthday.

'Prince Roswell, the vehicle is ready'. Bruce said.

I nodded and walked towards the passenger backseat.

'Okay, so like I said before I wanted your name's so I can address you by them'. 'I also want you to address me by my name, not Prince do you understand'? I explained to them. I watched as both of them nodded their heads agreeing with what I had said.

'Okay Bruce you will drive half way there and then Liam you will drive the last half'. I explained to them. Once again they nodded their heads and Bruce went to the driver side door and git in. And Liam walked to the passenger side door getting in his self.

The drive was long and tiring. We stopped twice for gas and once for food. I'm not sure if I slept or just dozed off throughout the ride, but Bruce calling my name brought me out of whatever daze I was in once we arrived at BlackStone pack.

'Prince Roswell, we are here's. Bruce said once again. I nodded my head and sat up straighter on my seat.

'Prince Roswell, I think that's Alpha Laurent and Luna Larry'. Liam said. I looked out the car window and smiled. It was indeed my future in laws.

'You are right they are both the Alpha and Luna BlackStone'. I told them.

My heartbeat began to increase as my mate's intimidating scent grew stronger the closer we drove in front of the pack grounds. Once the car stopped I didn't waste any time getting out of the car and walked towards Alpha Luna and Luna Larry.

'Thank you for allowing me to visit Alpha Laurent and Luna Larry'. I said bowing to them both. I heard a chuckle and my smile grew wider listening to the angelic laughter of my mate.

'Hello Phoenix'. I said softly staring at the caramel colored eyes of my beautiful mate.

"Hi". He sassily said. I chuckled and without wasting a second more I wrapped my arms around my mate tightly, inhaling his intoxicating scent.

Midnight my wolf purred happily in my head, and for what seemed like a lifetime my wolf was happy.

'I missed you'. I whispered in Phoenix ear. 'I know I messed up and I have a lot to make up for, but please allow me to right all my mistakes'. I told him almost pleadingly in his ear. I felt him nodding his causing butterflies to erupt within me, and my heartbeat to increase dangerously fast.

Truth be told I never imagined my mate giving me a chance to explain or even second chance to be his mate. The fact that Alpha Laurent allowed me to visit was just a surprising as my mate allowing me to explain to him how truly sorry I am for hurting him even if it was unintentional.
