King Kyrie's POV:

I grew more and more restless in this never ending meeting with the Elders and supernatural council members.

I can tell something is wrong with my son, but I can't get a full feel if what. It's like someone or something is blocking our link.

Gritting my teeth once again, I abruptly got up and walked out of the meeting, followed by my mate and my royal guards. I need to find out what is happening to my son.

'I can feel something is wrong too'. Isbell linked me. I nodded my head in understanding. I haven't felt something like this since Larry and Laurent was last attacked almost twenty years ago, back then I just thought it was because they are not just under my protection (as all werewolves are) but also because they are extremely close friends, but I quickly discovered that Larry's 'other sides' were preventing others around him from feeling his pain. I hope that is not what is happening here. I sighed and walked into Laurent's office, sighing once again before I spoke.

'Sorry Laurent I didn't knock, I just feel as though something is off and don't have the patience to knock right now'. I rushed out, explained to him.

'It is okay your highness'. He said smiling causing me to growl at him playfully, I hate when Laurent and Larry referred to me as highness. Even though I know he is only playing, I still do not like it.

'Tell me what happened'? 'I can't feel Roswell fully, so I know it involves him'. I asked, told him. I heard him sigh before offering me a seat. Both Isabel and I sat in one of his overly stuffed chairs, and waited for his explanation.

'Before I explain, try and listen to everything thoroughly before commenting'. He said, I just nodded my head in agreement.

'For starters we found Meridia, or well I should say she was here'. 'As you know Nezm/Blaze was attacked in the forest, well that someone is behind Meridia being here today'. 'A unknown she-wolf tried to forcefully mate with Nezm/Blaze'. 'Larry woke up from a deep sleep and rushed out of here earlier'. 'I followed him to
Nezm/Blaze's room where we found not only a unknown she-wolf, but four unknown werewolf guards holding down both Roswell and Phoenix and also Meridia'. 'At first I was pi$$ed because it looked as though Meridia had betrayed us, but Larry read her mind, well as much as Meridia allowed, (because she believes she is being watched) Larry was able to discover that while her mate and son was on patrol her girls were pup napped'. I growled out, but didn't say anything I want to know everything. I waited as he continued. 'Larry had Meridia with the help of plant the image of the she-wolf successfully force mating with Nezm/Blaze, in not only all that was present in
Nezm/Blaze's room but also those who might be watching Meridia'. He explained.

'Unfortunately, though because Roswell, unlike Phoenix has never dealt with a cheating mate, so he is having a hard time with what was planted in his memory, and before you get any more angry than you already are, we had no choice to do what we did'. 'I had Phoenix put a blocker around him so you wouldn't feel his pain. 'We have to make it seem real'. 'I would never do anything that would cause pain to any of these pups or their mates, but to find out exactly who is behind this we had to'. 'Larry, well actually his Phoenix and Meridia blocked all other memories about us being in the room with the unknown she-wolf and her unknown guards'. He rushed out, explained to us.

I waited for him to say something else but I noticed he wasn't going to say anything else so I decided to was time to ask questions.

After taking a deep breath I stared at my mate to gain courage before speaking. Once she nodded I started asking him questions.

'How did the unknown she-wolf and her unknown guards even get on the pack grounds and in the pack house without you or Larry being notified'? I rushed out, asking.

'She was with Meridia'. Laurent replied. I nodded my head in understanding.

'How come this evil is going after
Nezm/Blaze and not one of our pups'? I asked him. I watched as he took in several deep breaths before answering me.

'I believe the reason he went after
Nezm/Blaze is because it won't only hurt his mate but also his mate's parents'. 'Probably thinking this will be a weakening point for my pack'. 'I do not know if whomever is behind this knows that both Phoenix and Roswell are Nezm/Blaze's mate's, targeting the whole werewolf community or if he is just targeting me and my pack and family'. Laurent growled out.

I sighed heavily feeling the weight of not only a betrayal from a close friend, but also an unknown attack from someone that is either targeting both of us or just one of us, and using our friends to do it.

'Laurent I think it is best if we take Roswell back home with us'. I told him. I watched as he nodded his yes sadly.

'We can take Phoenix with us if you would like'. I offered.

'That is up to Phoenix'. 'I don't know if he will want to leave Nezm/Blaze behind, or if he will be willing to let Roswell go without him'. He explained. I nodded my head.

'Laurent, we take Nezm/Blaze with us as well, that way non of the mate's will be separated from each other'. Isbell said. Both Laurent and I nodded our heads liking her idea

'Then it's settled we will take all three with us in the morning'. I said.

'You might want to ask his father's before taking their son'. I heard Jackson say some where in the room.

'Cone on Jackson no shimmering, just show yourself'. I told him.

'Jackson I think it is for the best'. Laurent said, causing him to growl.

'I know Laurent I just don't want him hurt's. Jackson said.

'He will be protected by my Royal guards, plus both his mate's will be with him at all times'. I explained.

Jackson nodded his head agreeing with me.

'Then it's settled we leave tomorrow morning'. I said ending the discussion and walking out of Laurent's office.
