Nezm's POV:

I hated that my mate kept ignoring me.

Yes I know I f**ked up.

Yes I know I should have honored the mate bond even though Phoenix is younger than me.

And yes I know that not just my parents but also Phoenix parents are disappointed in me.

H*!! I'm disappointed in myself.

'No your not, you just don't like the fact that MY MATE has another mate'. Growled my wolf. I sighed deeply knowing he is partially right.

True I shouldn't have cheated on him, even though I wasn't aware that he knew we were mate's, beings he is younger than me.

'All you Alpha's are the same'. My wolf gritted out. I chuckled at his statement, mainly because I'm actually not considered an Alpha, even though my parents are the King and Queen of the Vampire's. I'm actually adopted, I don't even know what rank my wolf is, nor have I cared to ask my parents or even cared to ask my uncle Laurent or uncle Larry. Them both being Alpha's they would be able to sense my wolf's rank.

I sighed getting frustrated at myself.

'You should talk to mate'. My wolf said. I nodded my head agreeing with him, but a sharp pain in my heart stopped for a quick moment. I sighed once again and started walking once again towards my mate and his mate.

Man if that doesn't sound messed up. I thought to myself.

How can the Moon Goddess give my mate another mate?

How can my mate not think the same way I do, about him having two mate's.

'Mate's mate is also our mate'. My wolf all but growled out.

'Yea I know that you stupid wolf's. I gritted out.

I know I technically have two mate's, but I have only ever wanted one.

'Say's the one who willing cheated on his mate, hoping his mate didn't know they were mate's'. My wolf gritted out angrily.

'I get it'. I said sadly.

'How many times have I told you to stop
pi$$ing your uncle off'. My father yelled out. I stopped walking, frozen in the middle of the packhouse and turn to stare at the angry eyes of my father.

'Sh!t'. I muttered under my breath, but if course my father heard me.

'If it wasn't for your uncle Larry calming your uncle Laurent down, I would be picking you up from the pack hospital'. My father explained angrily.

I held up my hands, hoping my father would a least let me explain. Yes I know I f**ked up big time, and yes I if it wasn't for my uncle Larry, my uncle Laurent would have put me in the pack hospital the moment he found I was Phoenix mate. I sighed and waited for my father to continue his yelling so I can explain to him that I just wanted to talk with Phoenix and that I didn't mean to pi$$ off my uncle.

'Jackson take it to my office this a family matter, not a pack matter'. I heard uncle Larry say. I silently thanked him.

I smiled to myself, not because my father got yelled at by my uncle Larry, but because I can't remember the last time my uncle's or even my parents spoke to each other using their titles.

I can't wait to get there some day with my mate and our best friends, but first ai have to make things right with my first mate and then my second mate.

'Come on you heard your uncle'. My father said walking towards my uncle Larry's office. I walked slowly behind my father with my head hung low.

I knew my parents were disappointed in me, especially my father. He always stood by my side no matter how much I screwed up, but after he found out I knew Phoenix was my mate and I still chose to cheat on him, my father began to become disappointed in me.

Which hurt a lot.

I could handle my father Egon being disappointed in me, it was like he expected me to be a disappointment, but not my father Jackson. I sighed and sat on the overstuffed chair in my uncle's office and waited for my father to close the office door.

'Before you yell at me let me talk first okay'. I told my father once he sat down on the other overstuffed chair.

'First off, yes I know I messed up'. 'Yes I know I should have more restraint'. 'Yes I know both you and father are disappointed in me, but for once I was trying to fix my mistake'. I explained. I watched as my father nodded his head. I waited for his yelling now that I am done explaining myself.

'I am not disappointed in you anymore'. 'I was the moment I found out you had one of the greatest people to be your mate, and instead of waiting you chose to do what "most" Alpha wolf's do'. 'But that is the past'. He said taking a deep breath. I waited for the rest of his explanation.

'I am and will always your father'. 'Even though I helped raise Phoenix and his siblings, you are my son Nezm'. 'I can sense you are trying to talk to Phoenix and fix your mistakes, but can you please not set your uncle Laurent off while doing so'? My father explained, asked me. I nodded my head yes.

'Father I have tried everything to try and get Phoenix attention, but he leaves the room as soon as I walk in the room he is in, even if I am alone he won't even give me a second glance before leaving the room quickly'. I whined out sadly. I heard my father sighing deeply.

'You have to give him time Nezm'. 'You spend most of the last two years sleeping with any and every supernatural creature, without even giving your mate a second thought'. He said. I nodded my head understanding what he means.

'I am trying father, I truly am trying'. I said.

'Okay so now that is all talked out'. 'You want to explain to me why you keep making your uncle frustrated'? He asked me. I shrugged my shoulders not knowing how to answer him. In the last few days I have been here, I haven't even spoken to my uncle Laurent.

'I don't know father'. I said and left my uncle's office.
