Phoenix POV:

I tried concentrating on what the professor was saying, but the more I tried to concentrate the more I heard my fellow werewolves thoughts.

Half way through my class I decided to contact my dad and ask him what Roswell asked me to ask him instead of waiting till after class.

Thank the Moon Goddess talking to my dad helped block out every one's thoughts.

"Dad, Roswell wants to meet mom". "Can you shift into her while we speak so he and Midnight can meet her please"? I explained, asked him.

'You sure, your okay with that'? My dad asked me. I nodded my head yes, but stopped, realizing he can't see me so I told him yes.

'I'll ask your father if he is okay with me shifting into your mom, while we video chat and if he is, then sure I can do that for you son'. I smiled at his reply.

My parents always makes sure to check into each other about everything before doing anything. I personally think it's amazing. I want that kind of love.

'What are you smiling for'? I heard Roswell ask me, bringing me out of my link with my dad.

"Just talking to my dad". I told him honestly and shrugged my shoulders.

'That's nice, but shouldn't you be paying attention to the professor'? Roswell asked me. Again I shrugged my shoulders not really caring to answer him.

"I'll just get the print out of what he's been talking about at the end of class". I told him.

'Phoenix are you okay'? I heard my dad ask me. Again I nodded my head before I realized he can't see me.

"Yes dad, I'm fine". I told him.

'Don't lie to me'. He replied sounding a little sad. I sighed and decided to tell him what has been going on.

"Maxwell started spreading a rumor about me". "He told whomever would listen to him, that I'm not really Roswell's mate". "That I have a mate back at my pack and that I'm only with Roswell because I'm the unwanted sixth pup of an Alpha couple". I explained taking a deep breath before finishing explaining to my dad. "I had told Roswell and also the King and Queen about this, and even though they had spoken to the Academy they can't prevent the thoughts that the werewolves have". "I can hear their thoughts about me and because of that I can't exactly concentrate on my studies and my head is always hurting from the constant bombardment of their unwelcomed thoughts". I finished explaining to him taking a few more deep breaths. I heard my dad growl angrily in my head causing Cypress to whimper.

'If I tell your father how they are treating you, he's going to show up and destroy that Academy'. My dad said, I'm sure through gritted teeth. I sighed knowing he was telling the truth, not that my dad had ever lied to me.

"Please dad, let me handle this". I begged him, smiling to myself. I love how papa wolf my parents are about their pup's no matter how old we get.

'You're smiling again'. I heard Roswell whisper in my head. I nodded my head not stopping my smile.

"Dad I'm in class let me know what father says". "I'll link you when class is over with okay". I told my dad, hoping he would calm down if I mentioned the reason for my link in the first place. I heard him sighing.

'Okay son, talk to you soon'. He replied heavily soft. I sighed heavily knowing my dad is not happy right now.

After closing the link with my dad, I was able to concentrate on the professor and what he was talking about, and thank the Moon Goddess once again it was a subject I know very well.

Class ended quickly, most likely because I spent most the time linking with my dad. But as Roswell and I are exiting the class the thoughts started once again, but this time I use all my concentration on Roswell, succeeding in blocking out the unwanted thoughts. I really need to learn how to put up a wall from the intruding thoughts from others.

'Hungry'? Roswell asked. I laughed and nodded my head. It was the same line Roswell asked every day after this class. I laughed again interlocking our fingers and headed towards his room for some snacks.

'What did your dad say'? Roswell asked me as we walked towards his room. I took a deep breath and explained to him what my dad had said.

"After our snacks I'll link him again and find out if my father agreed to allow my dad to shift so you and Midnight can meet my mom". I told him as we walked into his room.

'I hope your father agrees, from what I heard of him he is extremely protective of your dad, and his protectiveness for his pup's are worth writing home about'. Roswell said causing me to laugh again.

I have heard the same rumors and then some about my father and everything so far  what I heard about him are true. Even the King and Queen respects my father.

"It is true my father is one protective papa wolf". "One I would never want to upset". I said calmly to him. I watched as the light slightly dimmed in his eyes knowing what I meant and whom it was aimed towards. Yes I cannot stand Maxwell and I have a feeling I will never like that wolf, but if my dad cannot keep my father calm after explaining things to him. Maxwell and most likely his father might find them selves in the Academy hospital if my father has anything to do with it.

'You can't let your father hurt Maxwell'. Roswell said quietly. I shook my head but refused to say anything. No one will be able to stop my father from 'kindly' informing Maxwell that my father is not happy from what he has heard, unless its my dad, and sometimes he even can't stop my father from becoming a papa wolf.

"Well between the two of my father's, just hope it's my father and not my dad that confronts Maxwell". I told him. I watched a shiver run down his spine after I explained that to him.

My father is loud and protective, but my dad is comforting quite which is a special kind of dangerous when he is mad.

'Let's have our snacks so you can link your dad and see what your father said'. Roswell said. I nodded my head and we began eating our snacks happily.
