A/N: The original chapter was made on the first day of writing this story... and I've come such a long way! Seriously, you guys are SO amazing. I decided to make an updated version as of 5/2/24. The old version was made on 1/29/24.
This could also count as a 10k reads special. Holy CRAP. I love you all sm.

Mercury

"It's not, Earth. You know it's not." —
- The messenger of the Solar System. Most messages are passed through him, especially from Earth as he can't go outside his orbit. Goldilocks zone issues. Earth did used to announce changes his Earthlings made about how things worked, but uh.. that went very wrong.
- Used to be close friends with Venus a couple billion years ago. They're slowly getting somewhere nowadays but it's hard. There are occasions where Mercury sticks up for Venus, and gets shown a brief moment of gratitude and respect, but that doesn't last long. Like I said, it's hard.
- Has a friend group of his own including him, Luna, and the moons of Mars. He also occasionally hangs out with Jupiter and Saturn. They call each other "The Bronze Trio." (COUGH COUGH. WONDER WHERE THAT NAME COME FROM...)
- If I could roughly estimate their heights if they were Earthlings or sumn, Mercury would be 4'10.
- Used to think beetles were extremely rare. It took over five books stolen from Astrodude about different animals on Earth and Mars and Earth lecturing him to set the message that no, beetles are not rare.
- He used to have a hat that made him look a couple inches taller then he actually was. When he tried showing it to the others they squished it down so he looked shorter again.
- Has at least a dozen messages that he wasn't able to send out to the dwarves because of the Sun's strict orbit policy. Most of them were from Earth trying to tell them about a new asteroid that was discovered about his earthlings and to be careful about it. The others are from Neptune keeping in touch with Charon and Pluto, but his handwritings barely eligible so it ends up getting pasted off to Saturn by mistake.
- When he's upset, the Sun makes him a mini plushie of himself. Mercury still has it kept in his bag.
