~Poe's POV~

Today I've been in my mansion working on my new novel since my dear Ranpo figured out my other one last week, Karl has been on my desk watching me write, Ranpo subjected that I get a computer and use that to write but I like doing it the old fashioned way, I stopped to take a sip of my tea that I had until my phone started to ring which startled Karl and me a bit because I didn't get calls often, I calmed down Karl as I picked up my phone seeing it was Ranpo.

Poe On The Phone : Hello Ranpo.

Ranpo On The Phone  : ...Ed your speaking what I'm guessing is english...

Right, sometimes I forget that Ranpo doesn't know how to understand or speak english, I learned japanese so I could understand and talk to Ranpo so maybe I should teach him how to understand and speak English, I changed to japanese to speak to him.

Poe On The Phone : Sorry Ranpo, what did you need?

Ranpo One The Phone : There we go! anyway I was wondering how your novel is coming along!

Poe On The Phone : It's going well, I just finished chapter three.

Ranpo On The Phone : How many chapters will there be?

Poe On The Phone : I don't know maybe 12 or maybe 15, I haven't figured that out yet.

Poe On The Phone : Aren't you at work right now Ranpo?

Ranpo On The Phone : Yeah but I'm bored! so I thought I'd call you.

I can believe that Ranpo was bored at work, whenever Ranpo is bored or not busy he normally calls me wondering what I'm doing, sometimes he ask if he can come and get Karl and hang out with him for the day when he has nothing to do.

Ranpo On The Phone : Have you taken a break?

Poe On The Phone : I took a break around an hour ago, why?

Ranpo On The Phone : Do you maybe want to come to the agency?

Poe On The Phone : W..Well well um-

Ranpo On The Phone : Please Ed?~ I'm bored!

Poe On The Phone : I guess one more break can't hurt-

Ranpo On The Phone : YAY! also bring Karl!

Poe On The Phone : Of course, I almost never leave without him.

Ranpo On The Phone : How fast can you get here?

Poe On The Phone : I can be there in 20 at max.

Ranpo On The Phone : Okay see you soon!

Poe On The Phone : See you soon Ranpo "hangs up"

I got up from my desk and got changed into my regular clothes and grabbed my coat and put on my shoes and then signaled for Karl to hop on my shoulder so we could head out I also grabbed a hair thing so I could put my hair in a ponytail if I wanted to if it got to hot outside as I left my mansion I left straight for The Armed Detective Agency until I passed a candy shop which caught my attention because Ranpo loves sweets, I looked at Karl to see what he thought but all Karl did was stare back at me which I guess was his way of saying go for it so I went in and bought Ranpo a bag of his favorite candy.

After buying Ranpo some candy I made my way to The Armed Detective Agency, after getting there I went upstairs and went to the office door and knocked twice waiting for an answer or an okay to enter which never came so I cracked open the door and saw Ranpo's co-workers doing what I guessed was the normal, then I saw Ranpo sitting on his desk and I'm guessing Karl saw him as well so Karl jumped off my shoulder and ran over to Ranpo.

Poe : Karl...

~Ranpo's POV~

I've just been sitting on my desk waiting for Ed to show up until I saw Karl running towards me excited as he climbed up my leg sitting on my shoulder, as I pet his fur he chirped happily, as I turned my head I saw Ed at the door and waved him over.

Poe : I saw that Ranpo signaled me over so I walked in and walked over to him.

Ranpo : You could have just walked right in Ed.

Poe : I didn't really know if I was aloud...

Ranpo : Of course you are Ed!

Poe : Oh also I got you these "pulls out the bag chocolates from his coat pocket"

Ranpo : Yay my favorite! You know me well Poe! "takes a piece of chocolate and eats it"

Kunikida : Ranpo please get back to- oh you have company..

Ranpo : Oh right I haven't really introduced you to my co-workers Ed, This right here is Kunikida, Kunikida this is my boyfriend Ed!

Poe : H..Huh?

Kunikida : Oh you're Poe?

Poe : Huh.. Oh yes Edgar Allan Poe n..nice to meet you.

Kunikida : Pleasure Ranpo says you're a writer

Poe : Yes I'm working on my new book right now actually.

Kunikida : Ah.

Yosano : Oh hey Poe!

Poe : Hello Yosano.

Kunikida : You too met?

Yosano : Yes Ranpo is basically my brother so of course I met his partner.

Dazai : Not that surprising.

Kunikida : You knew Ranpo was dating someone?

Dazai : Of course I did Kunikida~

Kenji : Aw who'd this little guy!?

Ranpo : That's Ed's pet raccoon named Karl.

Kenji : Aw he's cute! I have a cow!

Poe : Cool...

Ranpo : This is Kenji and that one is Dazai.

Poe : Nice to meet you both.

Dazai : Hmm~

Kenji : It's nice to meet you too!

Ranpo : That one is Atsushi and that one is Kyouka.

Atsushi : Hello Poe.

Kyouka : Hi.

Poe : H..Hello.

Ranpo : And those too are Junichiro and Naomi

The Siblings : Hey.

Kunikida : Has he met the President?

Poe : Oh I've-

Fukuzawa : Have I met who?

Kunikida : President!

Fukuzawa : Oh hello Poe I wasn't aware you were visiting.

Poe : Oh.. well Ranpo said he was bored and wanted me to bring Karl over so he could see him.

Fukuzawa : Poe you're welcomed here anytime you wish.

Poe : Oh.. Thank you Fukuzawa.

Fukuzawa : Of course Poe, now I need to get back to work "leaves back to his office"

Ranpo : See, he accepts Ed.

Karl : "makes a mad squeak"

Ranpo : And you too Karl.

Kunikida : Well back to work everyone.

Ranpo : I'm done with all my work so I'm going with Ed!

Kunikida : Alright, if your done with your work.

Ranpo : Come on Ed! "grabs Poe's hand pulling him out of the office"

Poe : Oh okay.
