29 - Lunch On The Beach

"The Sidewalk Café," Alli and I said at the same time."So where's that?" CJ asked. "Around the corner, come on." I said as Alli and I led them to the front of the café. "This is so awesome!" Stacey said excitedly. 

"Hello, Alli, Cody, I see you two brought some friends, your usual table I presume?" Shelli asked us. Shelli is our favorite waitress she serves us every time we come here."That'd be great thank you Shelli." Alli said as we followed her to the one corner we always sit in. 

"I'll grab you guys a few more chairs." Shelli said as she disappeared into the kitchen. "So you guys come here a lot I'm guessing?" Grant said. "Every time we come to the beach, so pretty much every other day." Alli said as we both laughed. 

"Shelli said you guys needed more chairs?" Austin asked.Austin is Shelli's little brother, Shelli's 27 and then her brother is 22 so a year older than me but two years older than Alli (that will be important later). 

"Thanks so much Austin." Alli said literally at a loss of words. "Sure so I'll bring your usual right out?" Austin asked."That sounds awesome." Alli said smiling. "Alright there are the chairs, and I'll be right out with your drink." Austin said as he winked at her then walked away. 

"So what's that all about?" Arianna asked nudging her in order to say something. "What are you talking about?" Alli asked."Alli has the biggest crush on that guy." I said. "I do not!" Alli said defensively. "That's our competition, dude we lost big time." Tristan said. 

"Lost what?" Alli asked confused. "Here's your tropical smoothie." Austin said handing it to her. "Thanks." Alli said smiling at him."We'll have her usual." Arianna and Stacey said at the same time. "So another couple of smoothies, what can I get the rest of you guys?" Austin asked."I'll have a bud light." I said. "He'll have a water bottle." Stacey said. 

"Okay a water for Cody, what else?" Austin asked."Coke, coke, 7 UP, and I'll have red bull." CJ, Tristan, Grant, and Tyler said right after each other. "I'll be right out with those." Austin said."He is cute." Arianna said as Alli and Stacey started laughing. "I don't get it." Grant said. 

"It must be a girl thing." CJ said as we all laughed. "Here are you're drinks, now what can I get you guys to eat?" Austin asked."Well we're going to start with the chips and salsa as well as 18 bikini wings in Louisiana Hot Sauce." I said. 

"Of course you're usual appetizers, now entrées?" Austin asked."I got this; I'll have the salad and half sandwich, turkey of course, Arianna will have the chicken surfboards and Stacey will just have a classic hamburger." Alli said. 

"Okay, and for the gentlemen?" Austin asked. "Pancakes for me of course, the odyssey for CJ, Tristan, and Grant, then Tyler will have the Hemingway." I said."Alright so you're appetizers should be out shortly then your entrées in twenty minutes or so." Austin said as he collected the all the menus then Alli placed hers on top and he dropped them. 

"Sorry, let me help you." Alli said as she bent down to help with the menus as they collected them and he placed them back on the table helping her up they were still holding hands."Have you ever seen the kitchen before?" Austin asked as Alli shook her head. "Let me show you." Austin said taking her hand and guiding her to the kitchen."Isn't that sweet? "Arianna asked. 

"Sweet? He's taking her to the kitchen not exactly romantic if you ask me." Grant said. "You obviously know nothing about women." Stacey said. "What do you mean I agree with Grant how is that a kind gesture it's the kitchen?" I asked. 

"It's not about the kind and romantic side of it it's the way he shows her." Stacey said. "I don't get it." CJ said."Yeah of course not," Arianna said rolling her eyes. "What is that supposed to mean?" Tristan asked."It means you five obviously know nothing about women." Arianna said. "I beg to differ." I said."You really want to play this game?" Stacey asked me, eyebrows raised and an evil smirk on her face.
