15 - Torn Up

"Stacey, Stacey, Stacey?" Josh asked trying to wake me up because I had fallen asleep with his arms around me. I might as well just sleep here then, Josh thought as he drifted off to sleep as well.

"Do you know what happened to Josh, he never came back in last night?" Alli asked Arianna as she came in at her usual 9 o'clock time frame.

"I don't think he's here." Arianna said as they came upstairs and walked in my room to a big surprise.

"Oh my goodness!" they squealed quietly as they then went back downstairs. 

"Morning ladies, is Stacey awake yet and do you know what happened to Josh last night he never came in the house?" Cody asked.

"No she's not up and yes I do know what happened to Josh." Alli said as she started making breakfast with Arianna. "Okay, I'm going to go wake her up, make me some cereal!" Cody called as he walked up to my room.

"Wait until he sees that, can someone say pissed off?" Arianna asked as they both laughed.

Cody's P.O.V.

I hope she'll say yes now I mean I know Jake just broke up with her yesterday well this morning I guess but I hope he was right and she does love me so she will go out with me.

"Hey Stacey can I ask you somethi-" I was saying but I opened the door to the largest shock of my life my best friend in the SAME bed as the girl I love.

"WAKE UP JOSH!" I practically yelled only causing Stacey to stir a bit but Josh sat straight up and immediately got out of bed and pushed me into the hall as he shut the door behind us very quietly.

"Will you be quiet Cody," Josh whispered. "What are you doing in the same bed as the girl I love we've been through this Josh, don't make me kick your ass again." I warned.

"No need for that mate, I'm just trying to do a nice thing for Stacey okay, I don't know if you heard but Jake broke up with her last night." Josh said.

"Yeah I know she's the girl I love you don't think I know when her and her boyfriend's break up." I reminded him.

"Well she had all of her friends over last night and she kept up this I'm okay act but when everyone left I knew she wasn't okay so she started crying and you know me mate, I can't just leave a girl that's crying." Josh said.

"I always hated that about you but I appreciate it but now I'm going to ask her out and you can go back home." I said. "Whatever, mate." Josh said. "Josh I woke up and you weren't there, where'd you go?" Stacey asked almost crying again I'm sure.

"Just to talk to Cody, are you feeling any better?" Josh asked her. "Not really." Stacey said as a tear trickled down her cheek. "Hey Stacey, can I ask you something?" I asked her.

"Oh hi Cody, no but maybe later," Stacey said as she started crying again and Josh just hugged her and ran his fingers through her hair and mouthed the words sorry as he went back in her room. 

"How is she?" Arianna asked as I came downstairs. "Terrible, she's devastated she can hardly say a word without crying." I said. "Well she truly loved him, I'm sorry Codes but I don't think you'll be able to ask her out while she feels like this." Alli said.
