I was getting in the zone, getting dressed, mentally preparing myself for the next hour as Cody came in before he was going on stage. I was getting my make-up done when he walked in.
"Hello beautiful." Cody said as he was about to kiss my cheek but then Glenn pushed him back. "No kissing, you're going to mess it up." Glenn said.
"Glenn! Stacey, I thought you weren't going to wear make- up?" Cody said. "I wasn't but then Alli brought Glenn in here and he's very hard to say no too." I said.
"Ugh! Glenn I want my good luck kiss!" Cody said. "Go kiss somebody else." Glenn said. "Come here Codes, he hasn't done my lipstick yet." I said with a laugh as Cody came around front and kissed me.
"This is the only time I will ever open up for you so you better enjoy it." Cody told me as I laughed. "Kick some ass Codes." I told him. "Always." he said as he winked at me.
Cody's P.O.V.
It wasn't even dark by the time I walked out about to perform. "What's up Lutherville?" I asked as my band began Where Did You Go.
The show was great, by the time I was done you saw the fans, you saw the fair lights in the background, it was a beautiful setting. "Thank you very much Lutherville, you know it's truly amazing to play in Stacey's hometown. She has an amazing show planned for you guys tonight, you're going to have a great time thank you very much, goodnight!" I said as I ran offstage.
"You were very good." Stacey said as I hugged her. "Thanks beautiful, the fans are stoked for you tonight their really is a lot." I told her as she just smiled. "Like I''m just trying to go on stage right now but I have to wait like fifteen more minutes." she complained.
"Well they have to get everything ready, you know reset the lighting, rearrange the stage a bit, take away the mic stand since you're dancing is going to be so intense, it takes a good fifteen minutes." I said as she laughed again. "And you just wasted a good five minutes explaining that to me." Stacey said as someone screamed her name.
Stacey's P.O.V.
"Look who I found." Arianna said as I raced towards my best friend from school Mary. "MARY!" I yelled as I hugged her. "Um when I heard you were going to be in town I tried buying tickets but the damn thing wouldn't accept and of my cards.
"Oh yeah, I made sure of that, that way you'd be even more surprised when I got you a limo and VIP treatment to the show. "Bitch!" she said as we both laughed and I hugged her again.
"You know I've kind of always wanted to be a singer, I just never thought I had any talent." you heard my voice ring through backstage as cheers erupted from all over the crowd.
"That's the five minute mark." I said. "Are you excited?!?" she asked me. "Beyond it's going to be a great show, have you met all my celebrity friends." I asked her.
"Cody! I need you to introduce Mary to all the celebrities her as the coolest chick ever and my best friend and that everyone has to talk to her otherwise they can't go on my Instagram." I said. "Yes ma'am." he said as he kissed me.
They were walking away as she turned around and was mouthing like oh my gosh you kissed Cody Simpson and stuff like that. "One minute!" a voice went over the TV as there were more screams. "Stacey I need you in position now!" I stage guy said through my ears as I walked towards the little elevator rising thing.
15,500 people. My old friends, my fans, I'm sure I know a good half of the people that are out there right now. I should be nervous but I'm not.
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!" my voice took over the TV as I began to rise as a smoke scream went up on the stage as it cleared Tristan was playing piano and I was posing at the top as the shine bright like a diamond replayed three or four times. "Well hi Lutherville." I said as everyone screamed and cheered and I swear if I did not have ears in right now I would've officially lost my hearing.
