49- Kisses

"Once you realize how amazing you are, nothing is going to be able to stop you." Cody said as he kissed me. I should've pulled away but I didn't.

Hunter's P.O.V.

"Well hello beautiful people." I said coming into the rehearsal studio with pizza boxes. "Hunter, what are you doing back?" Arianna asked me.

"Well I told Stacey I'd meet her for dinner so I'm bringing it here." Hunter said. "Can we come in now?" You heard Grant call.

"Oh yeah and I brought them too." I said as Grant, Tristan, and CJ came in. "You the man Hunter." Darien said as he took the pizza boxes from me.

"Thanks bro, where is Stacey?" I asked him. "She should be out back Cody went and talked to her she's been having a really tough day." Alli said.

I went into the back and was about to say something when I saw Stacey in the back kissing Cody. Well that's a shot right in the heart if I've ever had one. I went back in and everyone looked at me.

"They seem to be in a pretty heartfelt conversation I don't want to interrupt." I said as I grabbed a slice of pizza sat down and Stacey and Cody came back in.

"Hunter, oh my gosh what are you doing here?" Stacey asked me as she ran over and hugged me. "Well I told you I would meet you for dinner, I decided to bring a couple friends." I told her.

"Hi Stacey!" Grant, Tristan, and CJ said. "That's really sweet of you thanks Hunt." Stacey said. "Anything for you." I said as I kissed her cheek.

Cody's P.O.V.

Could he be more perfect? He brought her not only dinner but the whole fucking band. That kiss though, I don't understand how she can kiss me like that all the time and still be with all these guys. I swear I do not get her.

Everyone hung out for the rest of the night. It's like now that the whole crew is here she can finally have bit of fun.

"I'd still like to believe that I had something to do with that." I said unaware that I wasn't still talking to myself in my mind.

"What?" Grant asked me. "I said that out loud didn't I?" I asked him. "Yeah, come on." Grant said as I followed him outside.

"You kissed her didn't you?" Grant asked me. "What? No, I would never." I said. "You and I both know that's a lie, Hunter saw you two." Grant said.

"What? Did he say something?" I asked him. "No he didn't, I don't know why but he didn't want to interrupt you two." Grant said.

"You know what this means mate?" I asked him. "Cody, you need to stop." Grant said. "Dude, why? She knows that she likes me." I said.

"Cody, how many break- ups does she have to go through? There is always going to be another guy, how bad do things really have to get before you realize she does not want to like you." Grant said.

"But she does, Grant that has to mean something." I told him. "Are you guys coming back, she just mastered what hurts the most, she want to show everyone." Arianna said as we went back in.

"Okay, you got it this time?" Darien asked me. "Yes, no counting, play the music and I will sing it to, give me a headset." I said as Arianna tossed a headset at me and Hunter pressed play.

I went through the entire song, no mistakes, no forgotten lyrics, everything was timed perfectly, I officially mastered What Hurts The Most.

I sang the last couple of lyrics and ended in the perfect stance it could not have gone better. I stopped out of breath but with a standing ovation from everyone in the studio.

"Stacey! YES!" Darien said as he picked me up and hugged me. "What time is it?" Tristan asked. "10:30, why?" Arianna asked. "Fuck, I had a date with Casey at 10:00, guys I'm taking Logan." Tristan said.

"HOLD IT!" I said as he froze. "The three of you drove here in Logan, without my permission?" I said. "It was Grant's idea." CJ said.

"WHAT?" I asked again louder. "Can I please please please take Logan, I'm already late if I drive home change and go out I won't get completely yelled at by Casey." Tristan said.

"Fine but I swear to god Tristan if you crash him..." I was saying as he interrupted me. "I know I know I'm buying you new car from my hospital bed, thank you Stacey I love you." Tristan said as he kissed me cheek and ran out.

"We're going to end their for the night, see you guys at 9 AM tomorrow, right Stacey?" Darien said. "Yes, I won't be late I swear." I said as we all walked out.

"Back to your place?" I asked Hunter wrapping my arms around his neck as we stopped outside. "Not tonight I have an early meeting, bye love." Hunter said as he kissed me and walked off. "Bye." I said looking confused.

"I'll give you a ride Stace." Cody said. "Thanks, I don't know why he's being so weird." I said as I got into Cody's sports car.

"Yeah, it's odd." Cody said as we sped off. "Wow you drive kind of quickly." I said. "Depends on who I'm in the car with." Cody said.

"Does it now?" I asked him staring at him. "Yeah if I care about their safety I probably won't drive as fast but I mean it's just you so you're fine." Cody said. "Am I?" I asked him.

Cody's P.O.V.

"That did not come out right, I'm sorry." I said slowing the car down. "I really appreciate the fact that you care about my safety Cody, means a lot." Stacey said rolling her eyes as we stopped at a red light.

"Hey I'm sorry I'm a little flustered, you know I don't know what to say around you right now." I told her. "Wow that's a first." she said annoyed.

"Stacey I'm serious." I said as I turned and pulled over. "We kissed again, you and I both know you should've pulled back but you didn't we can't keep denying the way that we feel about each other because this keeps happening Stacey, you cant tell me that you don't have feelings for me when this keeps happening." I said hopeful that she won't slap me.

"What do you want to hear Cody, that I love you, that I'm in love with you, that I've always been in love with you..." Stacey was saying as I interrupted her.

"What?" I asked her. Is she seriously admitting that she loves me right now? "I can't lie you and I both know that we are the most perfect couple that we would be the most perfect couple but perfect has never worked out for me, so it doesn't matter how I feel about you Cody I'm with Hunter." Stacey said.

"But you can break- up with Hunter and be with me Stacey, don't you want to be with me?" I asked her. "Of course I do Cody, ever since Josh and Logan and Jake and Tyler and now Hunter I still want to be with you but I don't want to hurt them in the process." Stacey said.

"That's what you're afraid of, hurting them? Stacey, they're guys they'll get over it." I told her with a light laugh as she rolled her eyes and smiled. "I love you Cody really I do but I can't break- up with Hunter just because of how I feel." She told me.

I leaned in to kiss her and it was the most passionate kiss I think the two of us have ever had. It was perfect.
