Chapter 12: Love and Hate

A/N: I have the habit of naming the chapters with the 'song' that inspired me to write this so. here it is love and hate. :)

[Present] - (9:00PM) 36 hours before the wedding - Music here

Lily walks through the crowd, searching for her bestfriend, Mamie. She turned a complete circle, searching every corners of the great hall where the party is held. But her best friend is nowhere to be found.

Lily wandered around the place as she was searching for Mamie. "Mamie, where the hell are you?" she thought to herself as she walks outside towards the garden.

She found someone wearing an elegant black velvet evening dress, sitting at the edge of the fountain. She went closer with a smile on her face,

"Mamie! There you are where have yo---"she paused the moment the woman looked sideways and looked at her, her hearts started beating so fast, and her palms started to sweat. She knew this woman, the way she looks at her behind the silver masquerade mask that the she is wearing. Lily's eyes trailed over that woman's body as the woman stood up and walked closer to her.

"Sarah" she breathed, she just knew every in of her so well, her slender, svelte figure she always admired, her beautiful kiss inspiring lips, and those lambent, virility-brown eyes.

"Hi," Sarah greeted as she took the silver mask off. "Mamie gave me her invitation."

Lily wanted to run but she couldn't move, she clenched her fist, pursed her lips before looking into those penetrating caramel-brown eyes. "What do you want?" she said in such manner that she was obviously trying not to stutter a word.

"I want you back," Sarah answered without any hesitation; Sarah took a deep breath before taking both of Lily's hands in her warm, safe clasp. "Because, I don't think I can live the rest of my life without you."

Lily shook her head and pursed her lips while looking into her eyes. "Sarah, I already told you... I've decided to---"

"Don't lie to yourself Lily, I can see the way you look at me when I was walking towards you, you look at me with the same love and affection 2 years ago," Sarah said, cutting off the blonde's words. "Lily, No matter how hard I tell myself that I need to get over you I just can't. Every night I find myself thinking about how much I want you back, and I know deep down inside that heart of yours, YOU.STILL.LOVE.ME."

"Paulson," she whispered softly "I was thinking of what I've said a few days ago and I was wrong I can't stop thinking about you and no matter how much I tried to forget about you, I can't, I just can't"

Sarah cupped her face and smiled at her, Lily leaned closer to her, her eyes were trained on Sarah's cherry-red lips.

She gently pressed her lips against hers and kisses her passionately as she loops her arms around the brunette's neck to deepen the kiss. Lily broke the kiss and rests her head on Sarah's shoulder

"I miss you." she whispered her voice was shaking as tears started to trickle down her cheeks.

"I miss you, more." Sarah whispered back, laying tender kisses on her shoulder before nuzzling the blonde's nape, Sarah snaked her arms around her waist and pull the blonde against her, enjoying the moment of silence in each other's arms as they started to sway to the music that they could hear from the hall. Reliving the moments when everything was still alright.

"I, Lily Rabe, promise to be loyal, faithful and loving to you. Ms.Sarah Paulson. I'm very lucky to have you by my side, I promise that I will stay true to you because I don't know how to lie, and I promise to love you with all of my heart for the rest of our lives, simply because I cannot exist without you, because you're my only one."
