Lily woke up to the buzzing sound of her phone. With her eyes still closed, she turned to her side and let her hand reach out to the nightstand to feel her phone.

The moment she felt the vibrating cold metal case against her skin, she grabbed it, open her eyes a bit so that she could swipe the screen to answer the call.

"Hello?" She greeted groggily as she slowly closes her red, puffy eyes again. She remembered how she cried herself to sleep last night after reading the letters that Sarah gave her again, as well as the knowledge of knowing that the person who became her second mother is going to be buried today. During the old woman's funeral services, she remembered that she was hoping to see Sarah there, to grieve with her at least, but still there was no sight of her.

"Auntie Lily," A familiar voice responded, it was Tyler's. "I'm in front of your apartment unit right now, I asked my mom to drop me off here because I heard about what happened to Nonna."

Right off the bat, Lily jumped out of her bed and went to the bathroom to wash her face. "Tyler." She whispered before she rubbed her face with a hand towel and then hung it back on the shimmering towel rack at the back of the bathroom door. She couldn't help it but to think of Tyler, as the boy had also gone through a lot of things.

It's been 2 years ever since Tyler and his parents moved in NYC, most of the time whenever Sarah and Lily would go to Nonna's for a special occasion he would always come along with them. He loves the beach and he was close with the old woman and her niece as well. Being with Sarah and Lily at their cottage by the beach was his escape from all of his problems, since his mother and his father aren't always with him because of some important business trip. Like Lily, Nonna stood as Tyler's second parent as well as the old woman would give him advices and comforts him whenever he's feeling down, frustrated or depressed about something. He remembered when he had his birthday last January, his parents were unable to go back to from their business trip in Dubai, and upon hearing that, Sarah went to his house along with Lily and ask his guardian to take him on a vacation to celebrate his eleventh birthday, he remembered that it was one of the best moments in his life, he never had such a fun party. His parents would give him everything but they were never there whenever he needs them because of their jobs.

When Lily opened the door, he saw Tyler wearing a white polo shirt and plain blue jeans.

"Aunt Lils," he looked at Lily's face and upon seeing the sadness in her eyes, he immediately walked closer to her and hugger her tightly. "She's in a better place."

Lily returned his embrace. She kneeled down so that she could level herself to Tyler and as she pulled away from his embrace, she cupped his face and smiled. "Yes, Ty, she's in a better place now." She sniffled as the boy peeked inside her apartment.

"Where's Aunt Sarah? Isn't it that you're always with her? Is she going to come with us there?" He asked.

Lily momentarily bit her lip the moment it started to quiver. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, before looking at him straight into his eyes as she forces herself to smile again.
