"Why can't you go with me?" Lily asked, gussying herself up in the mirror while looking at her lover's reflection. Sarah was sitting on the bed, looking at Lily who's leaving for Connecticut today. The blonde was looking forward to spend Christmas with her family and Sarah just like last year. It's one of the best moments that she had ever had with Sarah.

"Baby, as much as I want to go with you, my parents said that they are going to go here tomorrow, I'm sorry," Sarah sighed, as she stood up and walked towards the blonde. She stood behind her back and wrapped her arms around the latter's waist. "But, don't worry. I promise you that we'll spend New Year together." Sarah whispered softly against Lily's skin as she plants a tender kiss on the blonde's shoulder.

"Ugh, I guess I have no choice but to be bummed about this," Lily pouts as she untangled herself from Sarah's arms and turned around to face her. She then wrapped her arms around the latter's neck and leaned in to kiss the tip of her nose. "I really hate it whenever we're apart."

"Lil, you're so clingy!" Sarah laughed, wrapping her arms around the blonde's waist, pulling her closer against her body. "I'm pretty sure that you're going to have fun with Mike, Jas and your dad, so no need to be bummed about me not being there."

"I guess, you're right about that but to be honest, just the thought of not spending Christmas with you this year, really makes me feel kinda' empty."

"Then don't feel that way, I promise I'd call you later and I'll stay up with you until its Christmas Eve."

Lily pouts as she furrowed her brows. "Just a call?" she sighed, eyes trained on the brunette's soft, plump lips.

"Hmm, video call?" Sarah smirked as Lily pressed her lips quickly against the brunette's lips. "How's that sound?"

"Better,"

"So, when are you coming back?"

"Probably on the 27th or 30th," Sarah could feel the sadness in her lover's tone. She felt bad about it, but she doesn't have any other choice but to meet her parents on Christmas Eve hoping this would be the right time to resolve past issues. "But, I don't really know, I may come back after Christmas and I'd drop by your apartment first."

"Surprise me then," Sarah chuckled as she gently pulled away from their embrace and walked over to her bag. She took out a spare key and hand it over to Lily.

"What's this?"

"Obviously, that's a key," Sarah chuckled. Lily lifted a brow as she looked at Sarah with the 'seriously?' look. "I'm just kidding babe, that's my apartment's spare key, I changed my lock a few days ago because I've heard that one of the occupants in this complex got robbed."

"Fine, I'll surprise you. I'll make sure that when I come back, you'll wake up only to see me lying next you," Lily said in a seductive, raspy voice as she pushed Sarah onto the bed and straddled her waist.

"Seriously?" Sarah said looking up to the blonde's face. "Lil, it's already 8 in the morning and your flight is at 10:30am."

"The airport is just 45 minutes away from here," Lily seductively said, as she lowered herself down such that her lips are just an inch away from Sarah's. "We can do a lot of things in 30 minutes and, I can shower and dress up for no more than 30 minutes. If you'd calculate that we still have an extra 45 minutes, to do whatever we want."
