==========================

"And no words can ever describe how much I love you, Lily. I'd do everything just to see that smile on your face every single day. I don't know how life would be without you, for as the thought of losing you itself, drives me insane." I whispered softly, stroking her hair gently while I am leaning against the pillows that were propped up against the head board. Her head rests against my bare chest and her arms were wrapped around my waist, her eyes were closed and an innocent expression is plastered on her face.

"When will we get married?" She asked softly, looking up at me curiously with a faint smile on her face.

"I don't know, baby," I sighed, brushing a loose strand of hair off her face. "When everything's finally okay; that day when we'll finally settle all of these things that are trying to tear us apart."

"When will you think would that be?" She asks, snuggling closer to me.

"I don't know, but I do hope that all of these issues would be resolved soon. I promise that when that happens, I'd marry you right away." I said, leaning down to kiss her forehead.

She just nodded with a smile in response. She laid her head on my chest once again, closing her eyes as I was lulling her to sleep.

It's been 8 months, ever since I asked her to be with me forever; 8 months ever since she said yes; 8 months ever since I told her all of the promises that I intend to keep. 8 months of hiding, 8 months of trying to deal with the fact that I need to see her with that guy, Hamish. I hate it, whenever, I see them holding hands and especially whenever they kiss each other. I know that it's all a part of the publicity stunt that Arlene had plotted and I tell Lily over and over to fire Arlene, but for some reasons, she doesn't want to coz' she said that, "Arlene would probably manipulate everything and everything might get worse."

Of course, we'd get into fights because of these things, but the thing about us is that we never go to sleep angry at each other. I would always talk to her, even if our conversation would keep us awake at 5 in the morning and we still have work at 9. At the end of the day, I just want to make sure that everything's okay, for I promise her that I will hold her hand, no matter how hard and difficult things are.

Alone in a dark room at the 10th floor of a skyscraper in downtown Manhattan, she sat on her chair and turned it away from her desk, finding herself in front of a large glass window overlooking the busy streets of New York City. Taking a sip of her brandy, she heard the door opened, followed by a footstep and the sound of a shutting door. A smirk slowly crept across her face as her long wait is finally over.

"And so I've heard that you'd be joining Shakespeare in the park, because you'll be replacing someone who had a role for a minor character who had sustained an injury last month, am I right?" She brunette said, swirling the brandy inside the glass.

"Yes, you're right, that would be me, but may I ask you why did you call for me?"

"I called you up because I need you to do something for me." The brunette asked, turning her chair around to face the woman who's standing right in front of her desk. "This is easy, knowing that you two had a very very interesting 'history'."
