Hearing three knocks at the door, the blonde put her book down on the coffee table and stood up from the couch to get the door.

"Hey!" Sarah greeted as she let herself in and hugged the blonde.

"Sarah?" The blonde was clearly surprised by the tone of her voice. Pulling away from the hug she looked at the latter and smiled. "What brings you here?"

The blonde ushered Sarah to her living room and as they sat down on the couch, Sarah took something from her bag, the jewellery box.

"S...Sarah, are you going to..."

"Yes, I am Mamie, and I want you to help me with do this," Sarah sighed as she opened the jewellery box and showed Mamie the beautiful engagement ring that Lily's mom gave her. "We're going to Florida next week and I want to find out about Lily's ideal marriage proposal."

Mamie sighed and squeezed her eyes shut as she tries to recall some conversation that she had with Lily over the past few years. A few minutes have passed and Mamie still couldn't remember Lily's ideal marriage proposal clearly.

"Ugh," She grunted, scratching her head in annoyance as she couldn't recall what Lily told her clearly. "I couldn't remember it clearly, but I vaguely remember that she told me she wants something that is exciting and new. Something that isn't too common."

"Something that isn't too common? Like what?" Sarah asked, putting the ring down on the coffee table. Mamie closed her eyes for a bit as she hummed while thinking of an idea that would make that proposal special.

After a few minutes, Mamie fluttered her eyes wide open as her face lit up.

"I got an idea!"

Mamie told Sarah about this little silly yet difficult plan of hers, at first Sarah was raising a brow, as she questions the blonde's idea, with that the blonde started to ask series of questions before finally suggesting what Sarah could do to make the proposal romantically unique. With her eyes still trained on Mamie as she explaining the whole idea of the surprise to her, Sarah blindly reached out for the jewellery box at coffee table and as she took hold of it, put it back inside her bag. When everything is finally clear to her Sarah's eyes sparkled with the thought of having to ask the love of her life to marry her in such fashion.

Sarah smiled and pulled Mamie into an embrace as she whispered, "Thank you! I knew I came into the right place."

"You're welcome and Sarah, don't ever make her cry again because if you do. I'm going to find you and I am going to punch the hell out of you." Mamie joked, pulling away from the hug.

"I won't, because if I do, I'll make sure that it's going to be tears of happiness from now on," Sarah chuckled as they stood up from the couch and walk over to the door.

"Thank you, Thank you very much, Mamie, you have no idea how much I want to thank you right now for this is the best idea ever, it's perfect!"

"You're very much welcome, but remember what I've said okay? Don't you ever... make her cry again, but if you do, I want a good explanation before I can give you the permission to see her." Mamie chuckled as Sarah smiled.

"I will, because I will never ever break her heart again," Sarah said firmly, looking straight at Mamie. "I promise."
