(6 days later)
(4:30am, New York, Airport)
It's been 6 days ever since Terrence knew Lily's secret. A part of the blonde wanted to take back everything that she had told him. But in the span of 6 days, Terrence assured her that her secret's safe with him. She found a 'friend' in him, he was a nice guy, and whenever Mamie's busy, Lily would go dinner with Terrence.
"Hey, when I get back, update me with what happened between you and your boyfriend and I'll also update you with regards to me and Cath." Terrence gave Lily a smile as he pinches her cheek.
Lily just nodded in response as she smiles back at him, after a few minutes his flight was called over by the PA.
"All passengers of Flight K7231 to New Orleans, Louisiana. Your flight is now boarding, thank you."
"Guess it's time to leave huh?" Terrence said in a barely audible voice with a hint of excitement as he looked at Lily. "And, you. I want you to take care of yourself okay?"
"I will." Lily conservatively replied as Terrence pulled her for an embrace.
"I'll see you soon," he whispered as Lily quickly pulled out from his embrace when a camera flash distracted her. "I guess you'd be on the headline tomorrow, and everyone will say that you're dating a hot non-showbiz personality." He jokingly said as he chuckled.
Lily rolled her eyes and shook her head as he gave him a sarcastic smile. "Don't count on it, I'm not that famous."
"But, I'm sure those Paparazzo's would update their websites, their facebook accounts, or even their personal blogs and websites about this, they get so much money out of it."
"I guess so, but I don't think it'll be as viral if for instance Taylor Swift's dating a new guy." Lily chuckled as the P.A called for his flight again.
"Hey, take care of yourself okay?" He said as he pat her shoulder and look into Lily's eyes.
"I've already said I will a freakin' million times." Lily chuckled as Terrence gave her one last hug before proceeding to the gates.
Lily went back to the parking lot and walked towards her car after Terrence's departure. When she got into her car and took a deep breath as she looked sideways to the passenger seat, where she left her phone.
"Who the fuck are you kidding? You changed your number. Of course you won't receive any calls from her anymore. You still need sometime... give it another week." She murmured to herself. She leaned her arms crossed on the steering wheel and rests her forehead as she pondered upon all of her actions this week.
(Flashback three days ago)
Terrence and Lily were in the middle of dinner when Lily's phone rang. Terrence looked at her as he took a big bite of chicken parmigiana.
"Is that him again?" he asked as he gulped the food down. Lily never told him that she's currently having a relationship with a woman. After telling him her secret, she drifted off to sleep as he cradled her in his arms that night. She felt bad the next day, physically and emotionally. She couldn't believe that she let herself get wasted like that. She couldn't even believe that she just carelessly said the secret she'd been carrying for years. The secret that made her guilty, the secret make her question people who she can trust. When she saw Sarah with a woman that night, everything came back, all of those hideous memories from her painful past.
