Our flight is by 5pm today and we just left the house. Its currently 3pm and we are on our way to the airport.
I'm so excited because we are travelling and also because I don't know where we are going.
I chose a simple outfit because he said the flight would be a bit long. We both wore sweats and its the best decision I've made so far because it's so comfortable.
We got to the airport and went to the international terminal. We did our check in and checked in our luggage.
The flight wasn't for another hour so we sat down and I did some work on my ipad. Something I like about my work is that I can do it literally anywhere and I still get paid.
Sometimes when I'm explaining something to Ahmad, or fixing something or when he watches me work, he has this face that just shows amusement.
But Alhamdullilah, if you told last year me that I would be working I would laugh in your face but here I am.
I finished in under 20 minutes and closed my ipad.
He got us some coffee so I drank that as we waited.
Later on, our plane had arrived so we boarded the plane. We are in business class and no matter how many times I fly, I have this wave of anxiety and happiness.
" Ready?" He said just when they will announce our destination and I nodded.
"...From Abuja, Nigeria to Singapore, please fasten your setabelts.." I gasped.
I have always wanted to go to Singapore and finally, my dream was coming true.
" Oh my god, are you serious?" I hugged him.
" Dama I'm I lying" He said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes.
" Thank you Thank you soooo much" I smiled.
" Your welcome" He said.
I took a pice of gum from my bag because I didn't want my ears to pop. We were in the air and finally settled, the clouds looked so beautiful and Ahmad was looking out when I took a picture and posted on my Snapchat story.

I relaxed and began searching for something to watch but I couldn't settle on anything. I ended up playing a random movie but got bored so I went to the bar to get some water because I was thirsty.
Ahmad was not even paying attention so I went back and met some male bartenders there.
" Do you need something ma'am?" The first one said.
" Yes please, some water" I replied.
" Coming right up, but I need to get it from the supply room so just a minute" He left and I stood there awkwardly.
He came back and gave me the water as I thanked both of them and went back to our seats.
Since we were in business class, we got a menu so I chose the chilli oil ramen with seafood for the main course.
