I've missed my babies so much so as soon as I landed, I called Farouk to bring them to me. I sent the driver to get me some things that I ordered for Nadiya's wedding. The wedding is next week and my tailor still hasn't brought my clothes for me. What I'm worried about is that I've lost weight from the time that I gave him and I need him to come so he can see me.

Apparently he doesn't have enough time so I just described where he should reduce the size, the waist and the shoulders. I feel like that man is going to mess up but we will see.

I heard multiple soft knocks on the door and I knew it was them. I stood up and opened the door, engulfing them all in a big hug.

" Maama Farouk said he was taking us to get ice cream fa." Amma said.

" Waye Farouk? Za ki chi kaniyan ki fa, Uncle Farouk." I corrected her.

" Uncle Farouk." She said and I smiled.

They told me everything that happened and I listened attentively in case something out of the ordinary happened but nothing and I was glad. I conversed with Farouk till Maghrib and he left.

" Adda look!" Rania came in squealing and jumping in her dress.

" It looks lovely Masha Allah." I cooed at the dress.

The fabric has a soft shimmer to it, catching the light with every movement, giving it a bit of elegance without being too flashy. The neckline is modest, high but flattering, and the way the dress falls just below her ankles gives it a classy, sophisticated vibe. It's the little details, like the subtle beading along the sides, that really elevate the whole look.

Even though she's petite, the dress makes her look older, with a perfect balance between highlighting her curves and keeping things elegant .

" I thought he was going to disappoint but damn." She looked at herself in the mirror with her hand on her waist.

" Labaran hasn't brought mine o, let me call him." I dialed his number and put him on speaker. He finished with all his excuses but promised to bring it on Friday, the events were starting on Sunday which is the bridal shower.

I went back to my room and unpacked my luggage and put all the dirty things away. My ribs have healed completely now and I would say I don't feel pain anymore Alhamdullilah.

" Maama can I call Daddy and tell him goodnight?" Amma came into the room wearing her PJs. I contemplated whether to call him, she kept on disturbing me so I had to.

I dialed his number and it ring once before he answered. His familiar deep voice came into the phone as it was on speaker. I nudged her to answer and it was only after his second ' Hello? ' that she replied. They talked for about 5 minutes before they said goodnight and ended the call.

I felt a wave of nostalgia because he was the last person I would see, hear and every single night before I went to sleep. Sometimes I have the urge to call him just to hear his voice, but then I remember everything. It's unfortunate but I just pray and pray that we both learn to move on in a good way and work together for our children.

Bamanga wants to torture me. He has began teething and now whenever I'm feeding him, he must find a way to hurt me, even in his sleep. I think I'll just go back to pumping like I usually do.

I have a facial appointment today and I have a lot of things to do. I need to go and buy new uniform for Amma because she cut up hers with scissors.

Sigh.

I'm already late for the appointment so I have to get going.

" Amma! Awwal!" I called them as I stood at the bottom of the stairs. They answer and came rushing down the stairs.

" Malam just called me, he will be here in 20 minutes. If he complains to me again about you guys, I'll report you to Daddy. Amma, remove your uniform and both of you should go and take a bath, eat and wait for him in the Gazebo ok?" I warned them and the nodded.

" Maama can I go and see nur if Malam goes?" Awwal asked and I nodded.

" Me too! I want to go." Amma said as usual.

" Only if Malam said you read well." I said and she nodded. I kissed them goodbye and left the house.

It was really hot so I put on my sunglasses and had to stop myself from applying any sunscreen. They said I should put any product on my face prior to the appointment.

I arrived there in about 10 minutes and changed into a robe for my appointment. The session lasted about 40 minutes, it was relaxing and I found myself dozing off. I payed and on my way out, I bumped into Maama B.

" Ina wuni Maama." I grinned because I was surprised to see her here.

" My dear Hameedah, how are you doing?" She asked as her eyebrows crunched and I knew what she was referring to.

" Alhamdullilah." I replied as she hugged me.

" Sai hamdallah, How are the kids and everyone else?"

" They are all good. How is the preparation for the wedding?" I asked.

" Alhamdullilah, stressful but worth it. Hassan mentioned you are really good friends with Nadiya right? She is such a sweet girl." She said and I already imagined how lucky Nadiya would be to have Maama B as her mother-in-law.

" Yes, we are really good friends. Allah ya basu zaman Lafiya." I prayed and she replied.

" Let me not keep you, I'll see you right?" She said and I nodded. We parted ways and I got into the car and drove off.

The traffic today was insane because a truck tipped over. I finally got past it and stopped by the pharmacy to get some necessities.

At the house, I decided to make dinner today so I made everyone's favourite, Lasagna. I made a lot this time because it's like this family inhales it and Kamilla said I must send it to her so I'm making an extra batch. I was done at dinner time so I quickly took a shower and came downstairs to find guests, Uncle Nura in particular.

" Ina yini." I greeted him.

" Lafiya." He replied taking a bite of the food in front of him.

I checked the cooler and as I expected, it was empty. I was gone 10 MINUTES!
But I knew this would happen so I saved some for myself in the oven. I got it and warmed it up a bit as I sat down in the smaller dining room.

It was good but I wasn't that hungry so I saved half for later or tomorrow, if it's still there ba.

" Hams, are you going for Nadiya's photo shoot tomorrow?" Yusuf came in with Bamanga on his shoulders.

" Yh I have to." I replied.

" I'll drop you off because I need your car please." He grinned.

" And why do you need my car?" I asked questionably.

" Ohhh I forgot, you have to go see the love of your life." I laughed and he rolled his eyes.

" oho dai, the shoot starts by 11 so I'll drop you and when you're ready, call me." He said with Bamanga now on his back, I don't even know how they changed positions that quick.

" Okay I'll let you know." I peeked through the door and Uncle Nura was still around, talking to Hamma so to not be in his radar, I went through the other staircase to my room. It was a long night because I had to clean the makeup stains that Amma left all over my dresser. She is so lucky she is asleep. It took me longer than expected but I got the job done.

I'm so so so so sorry guys!
