I'm back!

I don't think I've ever been this angry in a while.
It all started at Nadiya's henna party. There were a bunch of her friends that I didn't really like and couldn't tolerate so I just avoided them. The main person was this girl Maryam, she acted so entitled and the rest all followed her. I already knew her from back then but we were clearly not friends nor were we talking. She was the type of person that you can't even hold a sensible conversation with, she always has to boast about her dad being one if the wealthiest men in the north and it irked me.

During the henna party, I was going up and down that I didn't have time to do my henna. It was really stressful because everything was going wrong that day. By the time the bride and her friends were dancing, that was when I got my henna done. I decided to go for something really small.

I was sitting down waiting for the henna to dry when I felt a cold liquid pour on the side of my dress. The henna artist quickly stood up and helped me dry myself as I also stood up. I looked around and saw the Maryam retreating back as she mumbled a very fake ' My bad ' and went back to her friends laughing.

I didn't say anything at that moment and just went back inside to change my clothes. I was in Nadiya's room resting when they all came in laughing and as soon as they saw me, they stopped and sat in the room. I didn't say anything to them and continued using my phone.

" Hameedah where is your dad working again?" She asked.

That was a really low blow.

" Oh my bad, I forgot he passed." She said and the whole room got quiet.

I knew if I said something, I would go too far so I picked my things and left the room.

I just wanted to go back home.

The side where Nadiya was staying was a little guest house in their compound so I stopped by to see her before I leave.

" What's wrong girl? You've been quiet today." She said removing her ear rings.

" Nothing, just tired." I replied as I stood up.

" Are you sure? You're leaving now? Why so early?"

" Yh, the kids have been asking for me so I need to go but I'll be here tomorrow Insha Allah."

" Okay then. Take care and give each one of them a kiss for me." She hugged me and I left.

I drove back to the house and as soon as I went into the house, I took a shower and changed into my pajamas as I went to the twins room. I read a story book for them and I didn't even realize when I fell asleep.

The next day was the kamu and that went by really beautiful. The hall was decorated to her taste and you could tell she got what she wanted. I saw Ahmad when the groomsmen came in and I didn't see him again. This time around, the planner was here so I didn't have to go about checking if everything was okay. The groom's family came and we the bridesmaids, debated how much they would give us. After that, they sprayed perfume on her and the event began. We had lunch and right after Asr, the hall cleared. We went back home and she was busy for the rest of the day doing body care because tomorrow was the big day. There wasn't much for me to do so I went to the office because I had some things to complete for the week.

After that, I picked up Rania and the kids and we went to gusto for dinner since Mummy was out of town.
It was fun and the food never disappoints.

I payed and we went back home.

I left the house really early, after fajr prayer. Nadiya called me crying, the realization was settling in. I knew I wouldn't make it back home so I took my outfit for that day and went straight to her house in my Pajamas but I had an abaya on top.
