"do we actually need four people to look at apartaments?" aran asked, letting out an awkward laugh. he had a valid point, four people was a bit much to look at an apartment for one. "akaashi, it's your first time in osaka, you should do something more fun than looking at the apartaments."

"it's actually not my first-"

"akaashi," bokuto threw his arm around his friend, keeping him from arguing. "you really deserve some fun in your life."

"yn is a great guide, she knows all the cool spots in osaka," aran commented.

'okay, so that's what they're doing,' akaashi sighed quietly. he appreciated that they thought him and yn were a good idea, they wouldn't have tried to force them to spend a day together sightseeing if they didn't, but it made him nervous that it would be forced. everything up to this point had felt natural (aside from kuroo's meddling), and he liked how their relationship was progressing at a slow pace.

"what?" yn looked up from her phone, where she was too preoccupied with reading her daily horoscope to pay attention to what they were talking about. "what are we talking about?" she asked, having heard her name.

"don't ya think that akaashi deserves a better first time in osaka, than looking at boring apartaments?" aran suggested, and yn looked at him with big eyes. 'oh my god, he knows everything that's going on in my head,' she thought in terror. because why else would aran propose something like that if not to force her to spend a day with akaashi?

"well, technically, it's not his first time in osaka," she said. "and we had plans already, so i don't know if changing them last minute is okay with 'kaashi."

bokuto squeezed akaashi's shoulder without trying to be slick or gentle about it.

"i-i don't mind," he said, shaking bokuto's arm away from him. "i mean- four people seem kind of a lot, aran's right."

to be honest, he didn't like changing plans, it wasn't something he did easily, but the situation was tense enough that he just went along with it. and if it got him some time with yn, maybe it wasn't so bad?

"okay," she said, stepping off the train to osaka, with everyone following her. they didn't bother looking for seats this time because the ride was only fifteen minutes long, so they stayed near the doors. "just be careful with the landlords. if you don't like their vibes, don't make deals with them," she reminded.

"we won't," aran agreed, and he and bokuto quickly left in the direction of their first apartment.

"also look for mold!" she yelled after them, but because of the crowded train station, they probably didn't hear it.

after taking a deep breath, yn turned to akaashi and smiled widely. 'just be cool.'

"do you really want to have a tour around best places in osaka?"
