Meira woke up to the smell of sweet-scented soap drifting in the air. She peeled her heavy eyelids open and met the interior of an unfamiliar shower, but when her memories started flooding she recognized it and blushed painfully. She looked down and met herself in a bathtub filled with foam made from soap, and countless rose petals. Red cndals were lit all around the tub. There was also a pair of knees sticking out of the water, and they did not belong to her.

"Look whose awake," Neon kissed the side of her head. "How are you, my darling?"

"I'm okay, Neon," she lifted her hands. The white soapy foam stick to it. "This is romantic. I love it!"

He chuckled and kissed her ear. "I'm glad you do. Look around, sweetheart!"

Meira looked around, her eyes bulged. The reflection of a huge bouquet of red Roses and white Jasmine flowers forming a heart reflecting in her eyes. It was leaned against the walls with three red and white balloons tied to each downward curve at the top. The floral smells it held were strong, she inhaled deeply, excitement filling her heart. There were also boxes upon boxes of what seemed to be presents under it.

"There's a lot more in the room," Neon handed her a glass of Moët he'd just poured.

"This is amazing! I can't believe this!" her mouth hung open in pleasant bewilderment.

"Betted believe it. You deserve this and much more, my little Snow White!" he hugged her and smiled against her head. "Me and Ryat secretly made a promise and sealed it with blood. We promised to love you and spoil you forever, and to never let you cry because of sadness or any negative emotion. We even dared on who could treat you the best," Neon grinned. "I miss that f**ked, I hope he'll be back soon, but most of all, I hope our friendship doesn't change."

There was a dull ache in Meira's heart. "Me too, Neon, I hope so too."

"I think he'll be back soon. News has already spread that the Paloma Cartel is in town, and because Ravenhood has an obsession with us they're gonna come too. So I'm certain Ryat will be here, just give him sometime," Neon used the knife made of solid good with a ruby at the end to slice a red velvet cake. He placed it on a plastic plastic plate and handed it to Meira with a plastic fork. "Ryat loves red velvet cake, so do I. I remember the days we used to fight over it when his mom made it. We used to beat each other up until his mom separated us then beat both our asses."

The two shared a laugh as they enjoyed cake prepared by Michelin chefs and expensive champagne. "I hope he hasn't changed much, but I understand if he does. The Mafia, whether Cartel or Bratva, Yakuza or Triads, changes people. You can go from warm and friendly to cold and emotionless real fast. I won't be upset if he's a bit distant when he returns, but I hope he knows he's still my homeboy and I'm going to irritate him 'til he d**s."

"I know, I understand. Do you really think he'll be back soon?" Meira turned her body to look at Neon. He had a yellow and white headband around his head with mouse ears. "Neon. Really?"

"What? I think they're cute," he shrugged. "Ryat's coming home to us, baby girl. He's on his way."

After enjoying themselves in the tub they washed off and wore white robes. Neon leaned on the wall and watched as Meifa tore her gifts open and smile from ear to ear at the expensive gifts. One was a black opal pendant, one was a cologne set that was limited-edition and unbelievably expensive, a dress designed by the world's top designers, the finest lotions and shampoos, and those were just the cheapest gifts. The real pricey ones he had yet to give her, like an Island, a Hotel, an Airport, a clothes and cologne brand, and luxurious Villa - all named after her and for her.
