Ryujin and Yuna sat on the spacious balcony of Yuna's apartment, overlooking the city lights that twinkled in the evening dusk. They had always been close, sharing secrets and supporting each other through thick and thin. Tonight, however, Ryujin seemed particularly troubled.

"Yuna, I need your advice on something," Ryujin began, her voice tinged with anxiety.

Yuna turned to look at her cousin, noticing the worry lines etched on her usually composed face. "Of course, Ryujin. You know you can tell me anything. What's bothering you?"

Ryujin took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart. "I think I've fallen in love with someone," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Yuna smiled, her eyes lighting up with curiosity. "That's wonderful news! Who's the lucky person?"

Ryujin hesitated, her fingers nervously twisting a strand of her hair. "It's Yeji," she admitted. "My maid."

Yuna's eyes widened in surprise. "Yeji? Wow, I didn't see that coming. But she's sweet and kind. So, what's the problem?"

Ryujin sighed, her shoulders slumping. "There are so many problems. For one, there's the social stigma. Our families would never approve, especially my mother. She's very traditional and would see this as an unacceptable breach of boundaries."

Yuna nodded, understanding the weight of Ryujin's concerns. "I get it. Your mom can be quite strict about these things. But is that the only thing bothering you?"

"No," Ryujin continued, her voice cracking slightly. "I'm worried about how Yeji feels. What if she doesn't feel the same way? Or worse, what if she does and we start something, only for it to end badly because of all these external pressures? I don't want to ruin her life or mine. I'm overthinking every possible scenario, and it's driving me crazy."

Yuna reached out, placing a comforting hand on Ryujin's arm. "Ryujin, it's natural to be scared. Love is complicated, and adding societal pressures only makes it harder. But you have to start by being honest with yourself and with Yeji. Do you truly love her?"

Ryujin nodded earnestly. "Yes, I do. She makes me happy in a way no one else ever has. She understands me, even when I don't say a word. I just don't want to put her in a difficult position."

"Then the first step is to talk to Yeji," Yuna advised. "You need to know how she feels before you worry about what everyone else thinks. And if she feels the same way, you two can figure out the next steps together."

"But what about my mother?" Ryujin asked, her voice filled with worry. "She'll never accept this."

Yuna sighed, contemplating the best approach. "Your mother loves you, Ryujin. It might take time, and it definitely won't be easy, but if you and Yeji are serious about each other, you can face this together. Sometimes, love means standing up for what makes you happy, even if it's against the odds."

Ryujin nodded, feeling a bit more hopeful. "You're right, Yuna. I need to be brave. I need to talk to Yeji first and see where we stand. Thank you for always being there for me."

Yuna smiled warmly. "Anytime, Ryujin. Love is worth fighting for. And remember, you're not alone in this. You have me, and if it comes to it, we'll figure out how to deal with your mother together."

The next day, Ryujin found Yeji in the garden, tending to the flowers with her usual grace and care. The sight of her made Ryujin's heart flutter, and she knew she had to gather her courage and speak her truth.

"Yeji, can we talk for a moment?" Ryujin asked, her voice soft but steady.

Yeji looked up, surprised but smiling. "Of course, Miss Ryujin. What's on your mind?"

Ryujin took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment. "Yeji, there's something I need to tell you. Something important. I have feelings for you-deep, genuine feelings. I know this might come as a shock, and I don't want you to feel pressured. I just needed you to know."

Yeji's eyes widened, and for a moment, she was silent. Then she reached out, gently touching Ryujin's hand. "Miss Ryujin, I... I don't know what to say. This is a lot to take in. But... I have feelings for you too."

Ryujin felt a wave of relief wash over her, a smile breaking across her face. "You do?"

Yeji nodded, her eyes glistening with emotion. "Yes, but I was always afraid to say anything because of our positions. I didn't want to cause any trouble for you."

"We'll face it together," Ryujin said firmly, her grip on Yeji's hand tightening. "No matter what comes our way, we'll deal with it together. I promise."

As they stood there, the garden around them seemed to bloom even brighter, a symbol of the new beginning they were about to embark on. Together, they would navigate the challenges, with love as their guide and each other as their support.
