I was dumbstruck. I surely was.. I don't even know how to phrase it. Everything I'd say right now would be understatement.

Looking at a random woman I came across, was hugging my family dearly.

I was shocked at first and thought she was just acting to be nice but I saw something which made me surprised. It was her eyes whuch actually held tears when she hugged them.

Then she was looking at me with the same tearful eyes. Her eyes held something traumatic.

She, the principal's wife, my said-to-be sister.

But later, I had to hold a conversation with her in private. She had a better point of view in this, in us. Like.. I was really damn dumbstruck.

She has always looked at me as her own brother as she lost her brother to cancer while young. She believed he would have been like me if he had not died.

She was really happy to have us as her family as her own family disowned her and never cared her, for what? For falling in love with our principal, an orphaned man they called. They didn't want a lovely husband to their daughter, they just want a rich torture. If they are selfish, she had to hold onto that only selfless soul who lent her the hands she wished to hold onto for all her life.

Principal Anuj, not only seemed to but really was a great person. They have been married for six years now and going successful. His wife was pursuing her medical studies then and so he planned for a child after she had finished them all. He was proud of her.

I felt strangely inspired. Strangely. Yeah.

I've never ever thought about a wife or a family otherthan my brother and grandma. But today, I felt there is so much more in this world which can bring us happiness. I learnt that I cannot live in that very small circle for too long.

I looked at the couple sharing a hug before principal Anuj turned towards me, as I was holding sleeping Vansh in my arms. Grandma was leaning onto my other shoulder.

"Shall we make a move then?" He asked and I nodded.

I felt that slap he gave, still stinging on my cheeks. What did pain more was the look he gave me. He had truly loved his wife. That made him slap me right there, unintentionally. I hope so.

I don't feel bad about it but he's looking at me with guilt.

We made up for it already as he apologized and reasoned for that behavior and I long forgot the incident. But still, he was feeling guilty and couldn't meet my eyes.

I placed my little Vansh, in the room they showed and my sister, as she is, gave me the assurity to take care of him and grandma for sure. I asked her to take care of herself as well and I know my Vansh will surely do. He's a little gentleman, who'll protect the two women with all his might. I placed a goodbye kiss to his and grandma's cheeks and a brotherly hug to my sister.

Right now, we are going towards the railway station, where we are boarding to Dalhousie.

"Are you ready? Maybe this would really change your boring life." Anuj said.

"Yeah!" I passed a boring glare to him.

Eventhough the husband and wife due don't keep any secrets within them, she had promised to keep my secret within herself. I'm forever grateful for the angel she was.

We unloaded our bags from his car. I asked for a minute to stay here as he mentioned he wanted to talk to his sister, Madhvi Mehta. I purposefully stayed away from that one person who can bring a havoc in me with just a glare. I don't want to meet her hateful eyes digging hole through my heart.
