Chapter 32

Life became so blissful after I realised I'm falling for Vir.

I was lying down and was trying to catch sleep but I didn't get hold of it. I turned to my left and saw him awake. I frowned. He was wide awake and was watching the ceiling.

" Vir.. ", i mumbled and he was startled.

" Madhvi.. what happened? ", he asked and I shook my head.

" You're awake? "

" I didn't get sleep. You sleep.. ", he said and i smiled.

" I too didn't get sleep "

" Why? You must rest well. Nowadays not eating well too. Should we visit doctor? ", he asked and i shook my head.

" No.. no.. its not like that. I'm eating and sleeping well. Today i slept in the afternoon. So I didn't get sleep ", I said and he smiled.

" But you work a lot.. you need rest ", I said and he looked at me.

" Couldn't get sleep ", he said rubbing his face.

" Why? ", I asked.

" I wonder how Vansh is doing without me.. its been nearly a month right ", he said and i nodded sadly.

He must be missing his family.. that's why he's sad. All because of me he's suffering too. But he always smile infront of me and say he's happy.

" And how's our baby doing in there? ", he asked. I smiled.

" Not sleeping and not letting his mom to sleep too.. ", i said accusing the baby playfully.

" Dont accuse my baby.. it hurts", he said rubbing his chest.

"Oh really ", I smirked and he laughed.

We then laid in utter silence. I then looked at his hand which had bandage. I sighed taking his hand in mine. It was a mishap happened at the site while he was working. I caressed it gently.

" Are you happy? ", he asked.

" Hmm? "

" Are you happy with this life? You're a rich girl and now living this poor life... ", he said and I kept my index finger on his mouth.

" I'm happy wherever I'm when you're with me.. ", I said and he smiled.

" What about you? "

" I'm the happiest.. I didn't know life can be this beautiful ", he said with smile.

" You sure? "

" Yes.. My brother is also safe. I hope I can take care of you both.. then what there to worry? ", he smiled.

I hugged him. His muscles stiffened but then relaxed and hugged me back. I felt him caressing my hair as I slept. Love him so much.

The next day I took a quick bath and came out and saw him waiting. He held my hand and walked me towards our hut. All I want is holding his hand and walking till my end.

He stopped in his track with some thoughts. I turned to him.

" Madhvi.. what is today's date? ", he asked me.

" I don't know.. I forgot keeping note of it ", I said.

He then scratched his head and closed his eyes with deep thoughts.

" Tomorrow is your birthday ", he said and I looked at him.

" How did you know.. ", I dragged and he smiled.
