I take a deep breath and try my hardest to not throw my phone after reading her texts. I can hear Celeste yelling downstairs. As soon as I enter the living room, I see Felix and Phoenix fighting. How are they my best friends? Ugh. Celeste is cheering for her boyfriend. Shocker. Before I could try and do anything about those idiots, I see Ivy at the entrance of the door, taking in the scene in front of her. "You came," I say to catch her attention. That's when Celeste notices her and runs towards her. She might have gotten a little too excited to hug her because they both fall to the floor. "Ouch." Ivy says and we go towards her to help them. The fun part is that instead of getting up, Celeste is hugging her. "You guys are so close, you might as well kiss," the idiot of the century, Phoenix, says earning a slap on the head from Felix. "That's my girlfriend, you fucking idiot."
Celeste sits on the floor, removing herself from Ivy. "Shit, sorry. I got a little too excited," she says and "clearly." Ivy says nodding. Felix picks her up and kisses her head, I help her get up from the floor. Cel has that mischievous glint in her eyes and then suddenly realizes something. "Wait, how did you come here? I mean, it's not that I didn't want you here because you're my dearest friend, but also because you hate people. And how did you know where to come? Oh, do you know I was missing you so much? And oh..." Felix cuts her rambling by kissing her, which I'm grateful for because she said those things with so much speed that it was impossible to understand
. Ivy looks confused as fuck from her sudden rambling but we are all used to it so it's quite normal to us. After the kiss, her cheeks are red from embarrassment. "So, um, how did you?" she trails off, clearing her throat. "Um, Lucas invited me. Actually, I shifted into the house in front of his." Cel nods in understanding. "Well, then come on, let's go," she takes her hand and drags her inside, and Ivy's staring at me, confused as to what just happened. She went from excited to calm after the kiss and then excited again. I just shrug, knowing that is very Celeste of her.
We all go inside and Phoenix and Felix start fighting over what appears to be the last piece of Oreos. They are idiots, I swear to God. "That last Oreo is mine," Felix yells. "Catch me if you can," Phoenix yells, running and immediately getting tackled to the ground.
