        𝐴 𝐹𝐴𝑈𝐿𝑇 𝐼𝑁 𝑀𝐴𝑁𝑌 of Kai's followers is that they believe they're smarter than they are. Ivy is fairly new to the cult, she does not realize how truly brilliant Kai and his closest confidant, Pearl, truly are. Ivy couldn't handle everything with the gimp, she had run off as soon as Pearl cut him in half. She thought she was subtle, but they both noticed. It was the same with RJ. He was incredibly squeamish behind the camera, couldn't even stab the man. So, they had to make an example out of him.

RJ is the weakest link and apparently quite weak in general. Pearl, completely on her own, was able to tie RJ to a chair down in the basement and made sure that his arms and legs were duct taped. He had no escape.

As Pearl put the last piece of duct tape over RJ's mouth, Kai watched from behind her as she taunted, "I kinda liked you, RJ. I like being recognized from my murderous genius and you gave me that. But then again, we have to sacrifice our pawn, so...see you in hell."

Pearl lightly slapped his face to demean him even more before she turned to Kai, who immediately whispered and cupped her jaw, "You're so hot when you're crazy."

Kai lightly kissed his wife, Pearl smiling into it. It was sweet, short, passionate -- all Kai and Pearl were -- not to people on the outside. They pulled away, a smile being shared between them before Kai looked back to RJ. "Be right back, buddy."

Him and Pearl headed back upstairs where the rest of the movement was. Everyone else was quite concerned about RJ considering he was nowhere to be found at this meeting, but they only had to wait a few moments. They were all aware that he and Ivy had a very rough time with Bob and the gimp last night, so the group was hoping that Pearl and Kai weren't taking out their frustrations on them. However, they all should have known to that point that Pearl and Kai are not forgiving creatures.

While everyone was waiting in the living room, Kai and Pearl had joined them, Pearl delivering some good news she had ready. "Everyone, we have some good news. I did a new straw pole and ever since the clowns made their debut on the news, we're up ten points. Kai's ahead of all the other candidates."
