𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒔❛ to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die ❜
𝐾𝐴𝐼'𝑆 𝐶𝐴𝑀𝑃𝐴𝐼𝐺𝑁, 𝑁𝑂𝑊 𝑊𝐼𝑇𝐻 Sally out of the picture, was going to flourish. Not only did most of Brookfield Heights, Michigan love Kai and stood behind him and what he stood for, but the only other person to vote for was someone who seemed as though they would die the next day. Even those who didn't support Kai nor Trump had no other choice. They told themselves they were voting for Pearl, the humanitarian, instead.
Kai had a rally this afternoon to celebrate his loyal voters and supporters, but it too was part of their plan to further their movement. What better to get sympathy from the public than to experience a failed assassination?
Pearl was waiting out in the living room for Kai, already in her navy blue suit. She tended to match Kai quite a lot. He had joined her in the living room, having finally gotten ready. Although, his hair was still down, which didn't exactly look all that professional.
"Kai. Hair." Pearl reminded, needing him to look as clean cut as he could. Kai does look quite...scratchy at times. After all, he isn't one to conform to typical societal norms, so he wouldn't care to look the part. But when playing politics, one has to be appealing.
"I mean, does it really need to go up? You know I hate it like that." Kai complained as Pearl had taken a hair tie off her wrist. She had a striking feeling Kai would protest, so she came prepared. It seemed Pearl knew Kai like the back of her hand.
"You wear your hair up to bed every night." Pearl pointed out as she walked behind him, Kai correcting, "Only half."
Pearl did not respond, only shook her head and smiled. Since he couldn't be bothered to do it himself, nor did he want to, Pearl began to put his hair up into a bun. The couple was in silence as Pearl finished his hair. Kai turned around to be met with the enchanting, sweet smile from his wife. "I always liked your hair up. You look good-- not so crazy-like."
"You think I'm crazy?" Kai teased with a small smirk as he took a step towards his wife. Pearl rolled her eyes as her smile grew wider. "Obviously. You have to be crazy to love me."
