        𝐾𝐴𝐼 𝑊𝑂𝑈𝐿𝐷 𝐿𝑂𝑉𝐸 𝑃𝐸𝐴𝑅𝐿 no matter her talents, skills, outer appearance, and state of mind. Although, Kai is quite fond of her talents she developped from being a professional assassin -- they came in handy when Kai was losing his mind to paranoia.

During one of his rallies, Kai was expecting a large group of protesters since the competent people in the city could see what Kai truly was. A lunatic. That didn't stop the majority from falling for his charm. But just for good measure and to be cautious, Kai had his wife on a rooftop with a sniper rifle pointed at some of Kai's followers. If they shot the protesters, it would seem Kai planned it, but if Kai was attacked, it would be the other way around.

Kai had his phone in his inner blazer pocket so that Pearl could hear everything he could speak with her, Kai being the signal to start shooting. He was too making a speech. "Listen, everybody! Most of you are here to listen to common sense! And that is absolutely lacking from Washington. Especially in our representation, Senator Herbert Jackson. I mean, we got to talk about some of this guy's extreme positions. Anti-life? This man is for third-trimester abortions, people!"

Pearl rolled her eyes at how over-dramatic Kai was being. He exaggerated every last detail of how horrid of a state the Senate was in. It was nowhere near perfect, but Kai enjoys being theatrical.

"And some of you might be saying it's too early to start talking about an election two years away. Well, it is never too early to start the work of saving our great country!" People in the crowd cheered while the protesters did the opposite. "I am the agent of change, and this is the beginning of our campaign together! The globalists and the elitists and the cosmopolitans are so afraid of the truth that they don't want anybody else to hear it. That is un-American! We fought wars against the fascists for our rights, and we will fight them not to keep them! This is our town! Our state! Our country!"

Kai's followers started to chant his name as the protesters moved in. His goons were pushing them back and away from Kai so they couldn't so much as lay a scratch on him. The protesters, however, were determined. Pearl was worried that that angry mob was going to be able to get hold of him or hurt him, so she asked through the phone, "Kai, you want me to start shooting?"
