When she stepped out of the cab, she left her footwear at the entrance and went to buy some pooja materials. After purchasing everything, she started to climb the steps of the temple. Upon arriving, she noticed that there weren't many people in the temple, and some guards in black uniforms were standing around the premises. As she was about to approach Pandit Ji to hand over the pooja materials, he looked at the people present there and said.

"kshama kare , hukum sa ya ha aaj rudra havan kar rahe hai liye isiliye unke yaha ate hi rudrabhishek bhi hone wala hai maha pooja ke saath, unke haathon se mahadev ko toh us ke baad aap logon pooja karva sakte hai. iske saath saath hukum sa ke taraf se annah daan bhi chal raha hai. krapaya kar ke us annah prashad ko bhi sweekar kar ke jayi ye."

("We sincerely apologize, but Hukum Sa is performing a Rudra Havan today. As soon as he arrives, the Rudrabhishek and Maha Pooja will be conducted by him, offering prayers personally to Lord Mahadev. Only after this sacred ritual, other devotees will be able to perform their puja.

Additionally, on behalf of Hukum Sa, an Annadaan (sacred food offering) is also being organized. We humbly request you to kindly accept the blessed prasad before you leave.")

Before he had completed his speech, the crowd started to make noise as they turned to the entrance. Meera, standing in the crowd, also turned her face toward the entrance to see who had arrived. When she saw his face, she was taken aback for a moment. She stared at the person with wide eyes; it was Suryansh, who had at least twenty guards surrounding him. He was walking with strong, confident steps toward the temple.

Today, he looked like a king, wearing a white dhoti and kurta, with a shawl draped over his shoulders. He had a royal eagle necklace around his neck, a golden kada on one wrist, and a tilak on his forehead.

After seeing him in a suit every day, it was something new for her to see him dressed in traditional royal attire. As he approached Pandit Ji, he greeted Suryansh and brought him near the Shivling to start the puja. The ceremony lasted for nearly half an hour, and Meera, along with others, stood with their hands joined together, watching the ritual. Once the puja was complete, Pandit Ji first distributed the prasad to Suryansh and then went on to give prasad to the other attendees.

As Suryansh turned to face the crowd after receiving the prasad, his eyes were drawn directly to Meera. Sensing his intense gaze, she looked at Suryansh while taking her prasad but chose not to react. Meanwhile, Suryansh couldn't help but smirk at her.

About half an hour later, Meera also handed over the puja materials, and Pandit Ji performed a puja in her name, blessing her and giving her the prasad. With the bowl of prasad in hand, she went to a quiet, empty spot and sat down on a bench, observing the people joyfully receiving and enjoying the annaprasad.

As she sat there lost in thought, Suryansh approached her and stood behind. Seeing her gaze fixed on the people around them, he spoke in a cold voice,

"toh aap sach me shaadi shuda hai"("So you are really married.")

Startled by his voice, she flinched slightly. Turning to face him, she stood up. He continued to stare at her and added,

"aap ne bataya nahi... kahi pe bhi is baare me"("You didn't tell us... anywhere about this.")

Looking into his intense gaze, she lowered her head and replied,

"maaf ki jiyega ....lekin mujhe nahi laga ki ye batana... zaruri hai"("I'm sorry... but I didn't think it was necessary to mention.")

His brows furrowed, and his jaw tightened, revealing his displeasure at her withholding information. However, he controlled his emotions and asked,

"waise aap ke pati ka naam kya hai... and kaha kaam karte hai woh miss.sharma"("By the way, what's your husband's name? And where does he work, Miss Sharma?")

Hearing this, she looked at him with a tense gaze, contemplating what kind of words might convince him to believe her lie. She pondered how she would hide the truth. After a brief silence, she lowered her gaze in nervousness and said,

"Sorry to say this, sir, but mujhe nahi lagta ha i ki aap ko mere personal life ke baare me janne ki jaroorat hai waise bhi me apane personal life ke bare me kisise bhi discuse karne me comfertable nahi hu."("Sorry to say this, sir, but I don't think you need to know about my personal life. Besides, I'm not comfortable discussing it with anyone.")

Upon hearing her response, he didn't push further and replied with a smirk,

"koi baat nahi miss... oh sorry mrs. meera jo mujhe janna hai vo me kisi bhi halat me jaan ke reheta hu. toh me dekhlunga"

("No worries, Miss... oh, sorry, Mrs. Meera. I will find out what I want to know, no matter what")

By the way, I hear it's your birthday today, so why don't you go and serve the prashad to the people?"
Hearing him, she looked at him in confusion. Guessing what she was thinking, he said in the same cold voice,

"I heard from Ved that he is preparing a surprise for your birthday. aur itane sare jhoot bolane ke baad kya pata annadaan karne se, un logon ko parosane se kuch punya prapti hojaye aap ko."("And who knows, after all the lies you told, maybe by serving people, you might earn some good virtue.")

Hearing his mocking tone, she glared at him but remained silent, fully aware of how angry he could become. Seeing her silence and noticing her glare, he continued,

"Waise bhi, office mein Vedansh ke saath gappe ladane ke alava, maine aapko kuch aur karte hue nahi dekha hai aaj tak. Kam se kam yahan toh kuch kaam aa jaye aap aur aap ki salary. Chaliye..."

("Anyway, apart from chatting with Vedansh in the office, I haven't seen you do anything else till now. At least here, let you and your salary be of some use. Come on...")

Hearing him, she tightly closed her eyes to control herself. She knew he was doing all this purposely, possibly because of her bad behaviour with his fiancée. Thinking as she followed him, Meera began serving rice to people with a smile. Suryansh stood behind her, watching her cheerful demeanour and the way the people were receiving the food. It was already 2 PM; the sun was high in the sky, its bright rays spreading everywhere. However, it seemed like the line of people would not end until evening.

Meera could feel the heat of the sun; she even started to sweat a little, but she didn't stop serving. Suryansh was sitting behind her, observing everything while discussing some matters from time to time with his guards and assistant, Dhruv Mittal. Among the people he saw was an elderly lady who, upon receiving her food, looked at Meera and remarked on her kindness and the different charm in her smiling face.

"bhala ho apka aur hukum sa ka rani sa. bhagawan se prarthana karenge ki jaldh hi chote raj kumar ya rajkumari aye aap ke goud me aur woh bhi aap ke jaise hi aisi panya ki kaam kare aur is riyasat ko achhe se aghe badaye......"

("May you and  Hukum saa be blessed. We pray to God that soon a little prince or princess arrives in your arms, and that they too carry forward this kingdom with the same excellence and grace as you.")
