When Meera reached him, she offered him her wedding dress and jewellery. Mr Khanna was confused by her actions. Seeing the look on his face, she said,

"Mr. Khanna, I can't take this with me. If I do, my family will find out, and having it with me will only bring back memories of this ugliest day of my life. I truly want to forget this day, so please return it to your boss or throw it in the dustbin; I don't care."

Handing the wedding items to Mr. Khanna, she went to sit in the car. Hearing her words, Mr. Khanna was stunned with shock. He looked in the direction she had gone and then turned his gaze to the lehenga in his hand. With a tense expression, he said to himself,

"If Sir finds out that Ma'am returned their wedding lehenga and jewellery, he will definitely get angry. What do I do now? If I throw it away, he will surely kill me. Oh God....... I think it's better to return it. Yes, it's better to face his anger than to get killed. But anyway, finally there is someone who has the ability to make him bow."

Saying this, he smiled and went to the car where Meera was waiting for him.

When Mr. Khanna started the car, Meera turned her gaze from the window to him and said,

"Mr. Khanna, please drop me off at the hospital."

Hearing her, Mr. Khanna turned his head towards her and replied,

"But ma'am, sir told me to drop you at your house."

Upon hearing this, her eyes filled with anger, but she controlled herself and responded in a stiff tone.

"He is no one to order me around, and frankly, I don't care what he said to you. I just want to go to the hospital, that's it. If you drop me off at my house, that's fine; I know how to take a taxi from there to the hospital."

With that, she turned her head back to look out the window.

Hearing her words, Mr. Khanna's eyes widened in shock. He quickly covered his expression, bowed his head, and said,

"Sorry, ma'am. I will drop you to the hospital."

Saying this, he started the car. The entire ride was silent.

When they reached the hospital, Mr. Khanna stopped the car at the entrance. Meera was deep in thought, and noticing her zoned-out expression, he called her name to let her know they had arrived. Hearing his words, Meera snapped out of her thoughts, looked around momentarily, then opened the car door and got out without saying anything.

As she approached the hospital's glass door, she caught a glimpse of her reflection. The red sindoor on her forehead and the mangalsutra around her neck suddenly seemed so new to her. Realizing something, she quickly tried to hide them with her hair and dupatta. After glancing at her reflection one more time, satisfied with her appearance, she let out a sigh and headed toward the direction where Adi was admitted.

When Meera reached Adi's ward, she saw a middle-aged couple sitting across from her mother and maasi (aunt). Nervously, she took a step towards them. As they sensed someone approaching, they all turned to look in her direction.

When Vidya saw her daughter, she hurried over, embraced Meera tightly, and said in a tense voice,
