It's been four months since Meera started working there, and during this time, she and Vedansh have grown closer while working together. Sometimes, they team up to playfully irritate Druv Mittal. In their free time, Vedansh takes her shopping and to parks to enjoy the holidays. These experiences help Meera feel less alone; she no longer misses Nidhi the way she used to. Vedansh's carefree and friendly nature has made her feel more comfortable, and she has started to see him as a true friend.

Additionally, some other male and female employees from different departments have also begun to talk to Meera in a friendly manner. During the investigation, they discovered that a male employee from the security department, who had been assigned to work with Meera four months ago, was the spy.

MEERA'S POV:

After shutting down my computer, I went to Ved Sir's cabin and told him that I wanted to take leave tomorrow because it is my birthday. I planned to go to the temple and make some small donations to an orphanage. When he heard this, he gave me a bright smile and excitedly asked if there would be a party. Hearing this, I looked at him, holding the menu, and asked in amusement,

 "What...? A surprise?"

He nodded, still grinning, and said,

"You will get it before the weekend."

I looked at him suspiciously and asked again,

"Ohhh... that much time? What is it? If it's something expensive, I don't need it; you know I hate—"

before I could complete my thought, he interrupted me.

"Okay... I know you hate it, and you dislike accepting gifts. I understand that. So, this isn't anything costly or extravagant. You'll see; just be patient, Miss Meera Sharma."

Hearing him say that made me pause, and he laughed at me. In the meantime, our food order arrived, and we had dinner together. He dropped me off near my apartment.

Once I got to my room, I changed into a cozy oversized cream-colored t-shirt that comes down to my knees, so I didn't feel the need to wear anything else. As I sat down to check my work for tomorrow, which I needed to send to Ved Sir, my phone started ringing. When I picked up the call while looking at my laptop, I heard my maasi's voice.

It had been months since I last talked to them properly; whenever they tried to reach out, I would avoid the calls, saying I was busy with work. But today, I knew why she was calling—she wanted to wish me a happy birthday. Just as I was about to say something, she cut me off and said...
