With a stern, furious gaze directed at Maya, he said,

"It's better if it. Doesn't. Happen. Again. Otherwise, you will have to face the consequences."

Hearing this, both Meera and Maya nodded in fear, while Vedansh stared at Suryansh in disbelief. After a few seconds, Suryansh turned to Vedansh and said,

"Vedansh..."

Hearing his deep, angered voice, Vedansh slightly nodded and said to Meera, looking at her,

 "Miss Meera, come with me..."

Meera gulped and replied,

"Yes sir,"

before picking up the phone that was lying on the ground. As she followed Vedansh, she cursed Maya for her broken phone.

When they both entered Vedansh's cabin, Vedansh looked at Meera, who was busy checking her phone, and went to get her some water. While handing the glass to Meera, Vedansh said with concern,

"I'm sorry, Miss Meera, for what has happened. Did she hurt you? Do you want to visit a doctor?"

Hearing him, Meera took the glass and responded with a small smile,

"No, I'm fine, and I really am sorry for how I behaved back there." After a pause, she asked, "Can I know who she is? Is she a partner or a shareholder in the company?"

As she started to gulp down the water, Vedansh responded with a sad and irritated expression.

"No... actually, she is Bhayi Sa's fiancée, Maya Rawat."

Hearing this, she began to cough violently, her wide eyes filled with shock. Within seconds, her eyes turned red and moist. Seeing her distress, Vedansh guided her to a nearby couch and started to rub her back gently. After a minute, she managed to compose herself and finished the lukewarm water in shock.

Slowly, she looked at Vedansh, who was watching her and asked with a terrified and nervous expression.

"You are joking, right, sir?"

Hearing her, he shook his head negatively. This made her hands start to sweat in fear. She continued,

"Why didn't you tell me before about her, sir? You almost introduced me to every member of your family, showing their pictures and family photos. Why didn't you mention her, sir?"

Hearing this, he had a sad expression on his face. He said,

"The thing is, I don't like her at all. I have almost forgotten about her, and I don't even have any pictures to show you. She visits the office very rarely, maybe two or three times a year, to ask for help with her family business. So, I never thought she was important enough to introduce..."

Upon hearing him, she sighed and kept the same expression.

"I always tried my best to avoid facing Mr. Rathore or committing even the smallest mistake in front of him, but today I literally insulted his fiancée in front of his employees. Now he will definitely not leave me alone. Before he punishes me, it's better I resign from this job," she said.

Hearing her, Vedansh smiled at Meera's silly thoughts and cute expressions, which changed with each of her words. However, Meera was lost in her own thoughts and continued speaking as if holding on to her last hope.

"Or should I personally apologise to him and Miss Rawat?"

Upon hearing this, Vedansh frowned and replied,

"You don't need to apologise to anyone, especially not that witch. But if you still feel uneasy, you can talk to Bhai Sa. I'm sure he won't mind regarding such a small matter. If he is really angry, don't worry; I will handle it, okay?"

Once she heard him, Meera stared at him with a fearful, confused, and frowning expression. After a moment of thought, she nodded and said,

"Okay, I will try to talk to him."

Hearing her, he smiled and nodded in response.

After preparing herself and controlling all her emotions to speak with Suryansh, Meera stood in front of his cabin door. She reflected on how, throughout this time, she had tried her best to avoid Mr. Rathore, whether it was about the smallest matters or the biggest issues. Whenever Vedansh sent her to him for signatures on documents or to hand over projects, she would always run away after giving them to his assistant.

But today, she found herself standing in front of his door, unsure of how he would react to what she did. As she contemplated all of this and making faces, Dhruv, Mr. Rathore's assistant, approached her and said,

"Miss Sharma, please enter."

Hearing him, Meera came out of her thoughts and nodded with a small, nervous smile. After knocking, she heard his approval and entered, trying to exude confidence while controlling her nervousness.

Once she entered the cabin, a familiar scent hit her, causing her to scrunch her nose as she tried to pinpoint its familiarity. Before she could figure it out, Suryansh, who was looking at her, spoke in his usual deep, stern voice.

"Miss Sharma, I don't have time to waste on you."
