After leaving his office, we approached the temple, and then Nidhi said,

"Don't worry, Meeru. We still have some hope. If he is not ready to tell us, then we can ask Pandit Ji; he will definitely know something about that day."

Hearing her, I just hummed in response, and at that moment, Pandit Ji came out, holding some flowers in his hand and was about to enter the Garbhagraha, where the statue of Lord Shiva is located. Seeing him, Nidhi took my hand and dragged me towards him. She stopped him and said,

"Pandit Ji, we want to talk to you about something. Please, we won't take more than five minutes of your time."

Looking at us with a hint of confusion, he replied,

"ji boliye kya baat karni ha i aap ko?"

("Yes, please tell me what you would like to talk about.")

Hearing this, Nidhi and I exchanged a glance, and she continued speaking.

"ek hafte pehele yaha jo shaadi hua tha kya woh aapne kar waya hai?"

(A weak before one marriage was held, are you the one who handled it?)

Hearing this, his expression changed to one of tension, and he said,

"nahi me  nahi janata  kisi bhi shaadi ke bare me . aap jaayiye  yaha se"

(No, I don't know anything about any marriage. Please leave me alone.)

Hearing this, Nidhi and I got frustrated, and I expressed my frustration.

"jhoot mat boliye pandit ji woh aap hi the me achhe se jaanti hun. ye meri jindagi ka sawal hai. koi aap ki beti ke saath aise jabardasti shaadi kartha toh kya tab bhi aap aise hi chup rehe te ?"

(don't lie pandit ji, it was you, I know it very well. This is about my life. If someone had married your daughter forcefully like this, would you have remained silent like this?)

hearing this he lowered his head in shame, looking at this I continued

"please me aap ke saam ne haat jodti hu kuch to pata hoga aap ko us din ke baare me pls batayi ye hame"

(I will join my hand in front of you, you must know something about that day, please tell us.)

Hearing this, he raised his head and said with concern,

"aisa mat karo beti, yeh sach hai ki tum dono ke shaadi me ne hi karwayi hai lekin me unke baare me kuch nahi janta hu. us din us shaadi ke liye pura mandir khali kar waya gaya tha. waha us aadmi aur uske logon ke alawa koi nahi tha. us din mai aap ki madat karna chatha tha par dar ki wajhase shaadi kar wane ke alawa kuch nahi kar paya mujhe maaf kardena beti. woh insan bohot hi unche pariwar ka koi lag raha tha uske tewar nein naksh sab ek raja ke jise tha lekin uska gussa toh jaise bhairav ki tar hai woh insan kam rakshas jyada lag raha tha. gusse me beti usne mujhe marne ki dhamki di thi isiliye mere paas yeh shaadi kar wane ke alawa koi rastha nahi tha mujhe maaf karna beti iske liye"
