I looked at the blank phone screen and lowered my head, closing my eyes as I took a deep breath to calm myself. Whenever she says, 'Do whatever you want,' it frustrates me. If she doesn't agree, I don't understand why she always uses that phrase. It frustrates me even more than when she directly says no.

It was not even five minutes after I took a break to cool myself when my phone started ringing again, but this time it was an unknown number. Seeing this left me blank, and my hand began to shake slightly. My mind was telling me that it couldn't be him because it had been a week since that day, and he hadn't messaged or called me since then. Hoping it wasn't him, I answered the call. But within the next second, my hopes shattered into pieces when he said...

"Hello, jaan......."

Hearing his voice, my eyes and mouth opened wide in shock. I didn't feel the strength to respond to him slowly tears started to strain from my eyes. As if he knew I was in shock, he continued and said

"Oh, sorry... sorry, my dear wifey."

Hearing this word from him, my anger rose to its peak, and I clutched my bed in my hand to control it. Again, he continued and said

ab toh aap meri patni hai toh aapko jaan nahi balki biwi jaan keheke bulaana chahiye haina biwi jaan?"

(Since you are my wife, I should call you biwi jaan instead of just jaan, right biwi jaan?)

Saying this, he started to chuckle. But hearing his words, I closed my eyes and said, while

controlling my anger,

"Don't. You. Dare, Mr."

Hearing this, he chuckled again and said,

"I heard that you were promoted and that you accepted it. Are you thinking of running away from me, Biwi ji?"

Hearing this, my eyes widened in shock, and my heart began to beat rapidly. Sensing my silence, he continued, If you believe that accepting this promotion allows you to escape to another place, then listen to me carefully.

"aap jitani mujhse door bhagne ki koshish karengi utani hi aap meri paas aati jayengi yaad rakhiyega is baat ko..... biwi ji."

(the more you try to run away from me the more you will come closer to me, remember that biwi jaan)

Hearing this, I tried to say something, but I couldn't find the words to defend myself because I

knew he was right. After a few seconds, I finally spoke up.

"If you think you can stop me by saying all these things, then you are wrong. I'm not one of those who will be afraid of your words."

Hearing me, he said,

"I am not stopping you from doing anything, wifey. I am just telling you to follow my words because you know the consequences of breaking my rules, don't you, wifey? I just want to say that I always keep my eyes on you, no matter where you go. Understand, biwi ji?"

hearing this everything that happened on that day passed in my mind for a second. controlling my anger I said in my slightly shaky voice

"I don't know when or where our paths crossed, but I regret that day, that moment when I came in front of your eyes. I curse the day you forced me into that meaningless wedding. I will do everything in my power to stay away from you; you can't stop me."
