After watching Steve struggle to steal a pickup, Indigo asks him to drop her off at the tower. As much as she wanted to go with them to New Jersey, Indigo needed rest more. Besides, she has a feeling that things are about to get even crazier, and she'll need to be at the top of her game. Plus, being back at the tower gives her a chance to regroup, reassess their situation, and maybe even do some digging of her own. There are still too many unanswered questions swirling around in her head, and Indigo can't shake the feeling that there's more to this whole mess than meets the eye.

As Steve pulls up to Avengers Tower, Indigo leans forward to talk to Nat. "Hey, Nat," Indigo says, her voice tinged with concern. "Stay safe, beautiful. I need you in one piece, okay?"

Natasha turns to Indigo, her expression softening with a small smile. "Always looking out for me, huh, Indie?" she responds, her tone carrying a hint of gratitude. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. You take care of yourself too."

Indigo nods, returning her smile. "I know you will. Just... be careful out there, okay? And if things get too hairy, don't hesitate to call for backup. I've got your back."

Natasha's smile widens, her eyes reflecting a steely determination. "Thanks, Indie. I'll keep that in mind. Take care of yourself, alright? I'll see you soon."

As Indigo opens her door to get out, she glance over at Steve, who still looks preoccupied with the events of the day. His brow is furrowed in concentration, his eyes fixed on the road ahead with a sense of determination that borders on stubbornness.

"Hey Steve," Indigo says with a smirk, leaning back in her seat to address him. "Thanks for the ride, hot stuff. And thanks for the kiss, Nat," she adds with a playful wink in Nat's direction.

Natasha chuckles softly, shaking her head at Indigo's teasing tone. "Anytime, Indie," she replies, her voice laced with amusement.

Steve's cheeks flush slightly at the mention of the kiss, his expression a mix of embarrassment and amusement. "Yeah, well, I guess I can add that to the list of things I never thought I'd see," he quips, his tone light but genuine.

Indigo gives them both one last smile and hop out of the pickup heading over to the Tower doors. She slowly made her way up to hers and Nat's floor for a much needed nap. Indigo decides to take the stairs seeing as the last elevator ride was a literally death trap.

After 73 stories of climbing, still better than taking the elevator, Indigo finally reaches their floor. She opens the door to the apartment, as Indigo feels her legs starting to give out from exhaustion.

Indigo quickly looks around at the living room/kitchen. When Nat and her moved in, they didn't decorate it. Nothing has ever felt like a home to either of them. They didn't want to decorate out of fear of making a space feel too permanent, too much like a commitment. But now, as Indigo stands in the familiar yet bare surroundings of their living room and kitchen, a sense of longing tugs at her heart. Perhaps it's time to let go of that fear, to embrace the idea of creating a home.
