Bucky's POV~

December 14, 2014

It had been almost a month since Indigo's birthday, since he confessed his feelings. Well, he confessed them after she fell asleep.

They constantly text back and forth about everything. Every time Bucky remembers something from before Hydra took him, he texts Indie a detailed description about it. He only text her about his memories when they are good, like Steve and him as children or something about his sister, Rebecca.

Recently though the memories have been from his time in Hydra. Mission they sent him on to torture and kill innocent lives. It's been hard trying to keep that side of him down.

After meeting up with Indigo, Bucky made his way to Bucharest to try and get away from Hydra. He's currently living a less than suitable life as trying to keep a low profile in a safehouse.

He's got everything he needs, a floor to sleep on and a roof over his head. And a burner phone with only one contact in it, Indigo. The most beautiful and kindest woman he has ever seen. He thinks back to the Helicarrier.

While on the Helicarrier with her and Steve, Bucky had recognized Steve but her, he took one look at her and knew he needed her. He watched her fall from the aircraft and dove after her, catching her in mid air and using his body to keep hers safe from the impact of the water.

Bucky carried her and dragged Steve to the water's edge trying to protect them both, holding her in his arms was the only thing stopping him from running away. Hearing her voice and feeling her hand on his face, kept him planted to his spot in the mud.

He knew he couldn't stay here, he needed to run but staring into those green eyes, all he wanted to do was hold her closer. Bucky couldn't though so he put her down softly and walked away. He stole some clothes and money. His only thoughts were of her, he needed to talk to her, hear her voice again. Bucky bought two burners and found a dinner to hide out in.

Sitting there he contemplated what to do, would she even want to talk to him, what if she hates him, what if Steve hates him. Bucky looked up suddenly hearing her name, he finds the small TV in front of him talking about Indigo saying her and Steve had been taken to the hospital.

"Would you like anything, sir" a waitress asks as she walks by.

"Could I possibly have a pen and a small piece of paper?" he asks.

"Of course, sir," the waitress replies with a polite nod before quickly disappearing into the bustling restaurant.

Bucky glances around the crowded room, taking in the lively atmosphere as diners chat and laughter fills the air. The aroma of sizzling steaks and savory sauces wafts through the air, teasing his senses and stirring his appetite.
