As her consciousness slowly drifts back into focus, Indigo finds herself amidst a haze, the world swirling in blurry fragments. Through this surreal lens, she discerns the familiar figure of Bucky, his form sturdy yet gentle, cradling her effortlessly in one arm while struggling to support Steve with the other, dragging him along like a forgotten burden.

With a sense of urgency etched upon his features, Bucky guides them toward the water's edge, a sanctuary of both solace and uncertainty. There, he drops Steve's unconscious form onto the ground, his gaze briefly lingering upon his fallen comrade before turning to me, a silent plea echoing in his eyes.

Despite the chaos and confusion enveloping them, his grip upon her remains steadfast, as if reluctant to relinquish this fragile connection amidst the tumult. A surge of gratitude floods through her, dispelling the remnants of drowsiness, as Indigo musters the strength to extend her trembling hand and brush against his cheek, a simple yet profound gesture of appreciation.

"Thank you," the words escape her lips in a breathless whisper.

As Bucky gently lowers her to the ground with a solemn nod, his movements a silent symphony of resolve and duty, Indigo yearns to reach out, to grasp onto the fleeting connection between them, to articulate the myriad emotions swirling within. Yet, as she watches him retreat into the shadows of uncertainty, a sense of helplessness washes over her, rendering her speechless and paralyzed by the weight of unspoken longing.

Desperation tugs at the edges of her consciousness, urging her to call out after him, to bridge the growing separation with the frail threads of her voice. But alas, her vocal cords remain ensnared in the grasp of exhaustion, her attempts at communication stifled by the relentless march of fatigue.

With a heavy heart and a final glance cast in his direction, Indigo surrenders to the inevitable descent into oblivion, the tendrils of unconsciousness enveloping her once more in their comforting embrace. And as the world fades into darkness, she watches as he walks away from her, maybe forever.

Opening her eyes slowly, Indigo feels herself tense up under the fluorescent lights. She looks around to search for someone, anyone and realize she's in the hospital. She sees Natasha standing in the hall talking to a doctor.

Indigo looks over at the table next to her searching for some water. A flicker of curiosity ignites within her as she spies a nondescript package, its form swathed in the rustic embrace of brown paper, an enigma waiting to be unraveled amidst the sterile landscape of the hospital room.

With a sense of urgency tingling in her fingertips, Indigo snatches the package from its resting place, fingers trembling as she unravels the folds of brown paper enveloping its contents. Within its protective embrace lies a sleek burner phone, its presence a silent promise of connection amidst the void of uncertainty.
