Bucky's POV ~~

Sitting in the metal chair surrounded by Hydra scientists and doctors, Bucky's only thoughts are of the girl.

The second his looked into her eyes, Bucky felt everything. The green in her eyes seemed to hold a universe of emotions, each flicker of light revealing a different facet of her soul. There was a depth to her gaze that he couldn't quite comprehend, a mixture of vulnerability and strength that drew him in like a moth to a flame.

As Bucky stared into those mesmerizing green orbs, time seemed to stand still, the chaos of the world fading into the background. In that moment, it was just the two of them, suspended in a silent exchange that spoke volumes without uttering a single word.

Bucky saw traces of pain and resilience etched into the lines around her eyes, a testament to the battles she had fought and the scars she carried. Yet, despite the weight of her burdens, there was a spark of determination that refused to be extinguished, a fierce resolve that burned bright in the depths of her gaze.

In those fleeting moments, Bucky felt a connection unlike any other, a bond forged in the crucible of shared experiences and unspoken understanding. It was as if their souls had been searching for each other across lifetimes, finally finding solace in the silent communion of their gaze.

And as Bucky looked into her eyes, he knew with unwavering certainty that she was the one he had been searching for, the missing piece of his heart that he never knew was missing. In her eyes, Bucky found a home, a sanctuary amidst the chaos of the world, a refuge where he could lay down his burdens and simply be.

Her face was beautiful in a way that transcended mere physicality. It wasn't just the delicate curve of her cheekbones or the softness of her lips; it was the way her features seemed to reflect the inner beauty of her soul. There was a warmth in her smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts, and a kindness in her eyes that spoke of compassion and empathy.

Bucky needed her, he needed to be near her. He had to know who she was. Just as Bucky closed his eyes to try and see her face again he saw Dr. Arnim Zola calling out his name. His round head and piercing gaze through his thick glasses loom large in Bucky's mind, a specter from the depths of his darkest nightmares. Zola's voice echoes in the icy silence, a chilling reminder of the horrors Bucky's endured at Zola's hands.

Bucky opens his eyes trying to get out of the torture. Through the shifting landscapes of memory, each scene morphing into the next with disorienting speed. The train hurtles down the snowy tracks, its iron wheels screeching against the rails with a deafening cacophony. Bucky blinks and suddenly see the man from the bridge screaming his name. The man is in a weird looking suit and his face is etched with fear, his eyes wide with terror as he screams Bucky's name, reaching out to him with desperate urgency. Bucky feels himself falling, the ground rushing up to meet him with alarming speed. The wind whips at his face, stinging his skin with icy needles as he plummets towards the abyss below.
