Indigo's eyes snapped open, her hand reflexively reaching out, only to connect with something soft.

"Ow," came a muffled protest.

Startled, Indigo jerked upright, her gaze locking with Nat's wide-eyed stare. Blinking rapidly, she took in her surroundings—the sterile white walls, the faint hum of medical equipment—and the realization dawned on her: they were in a hospital room.

"N-Nat?" Her voice wavered, a mix of confusion and relief flooding through her.

"Calm down. We're at the new compound." Nat says with a smile.

Indigo quickly pulled up her hospital gown to see that her wound was completely healed, with no scars or bruises.

Indigo's voice cracked as she spoke, her throat parched from the prolonged unconsciousness. "How long was I out?"

Nat's eyes softened with empathy as she replied, "Two days. Dr. Cho ran you through the regeneration machine."

Indigo's heart raced with anxiety as she asked the next question, her concern palpable. "And... Wanda? Is she okay?"

"Vision swooped in and rescued her just as the city began to plummet," Nat relayed, she hops off the bed, her movements fluid as she collected her belongings.

Indigo, already on her feet, removed the IV from her arm, urgency evident in her voice. "And how did you manage to escape?"

Nat's expression darkened with memories of the chaos. "Hulk came to my rescue. After that, he went back to take out Ultron and flew off in the quinjet. We've been unable to locate it since," she explained, a hint of worry creasing her brow.

Indigo embraced Nat tightly, conveying her empathy in the warmth of the hug. "I'm sorry, Nat," she whispered before releasing her grip.

Accepting the clothes from Nat, Indigo swiftly changed out of the hospital attire and into the more comfortable clothes provided.

"I need to check on Wanda," Indigo declared, flinging open the door with determination.

She turns to look at Nat with a sad look, Nat grabs Indigo's hand and quietly leads her to the other side of the compound, to where the living quarters are.

Indigo looks around as they walks, she notices how big the compound is and how many people there are.

Finally, Nat stops in front of a door and says, "She's been in here since we arrived." With a nod, Nat walks away, leaving Indigo to face the moment alone.

Indigo raises her hand and taps softly on the door. A gentle voice from inside invites her in. With a quiet creak, she opens the door and steps into the dimly lit room, closing it behind her. The darkness envelops her, broken only by the faint glow filtering in through the window, casting long shadows across the floor.
