Indigo's POV~
January 27, 2015
It had been over a month since the last time she had heard from Bucky, and the silence between them felt like a deafening void. Indigo couldn't shake the nagging sense of unease that gnawed at the edges of her mind, leaving her restless and anxious.
In the beginning, their conversations flowed effortlessly, like a river winding its way through the tranquil countryside. They shared everything—their hopes, their dreams, t heir deepest fears—and she cherished each moment spent lost in the rhythm of their banter.
But then, without warning, the messages stopped coming. One day, they were texting back and forth like they always did, and the next, there was nothing but silence. No explanations, no apologies, just an empty space where his words used to be.
At first, Indigo tried to brush it off, telling herself that he was probably just busy or caught up in his own thoughts. But as the days turned into weeks, and still, there was no sign of him, his concern grew into full-blown panic.
Had she said something to upset him? Had she done something to drive him away? The questions swirled in her mind like a relentless storm, each one more terrifying than the last.
Indigo couldn't bear the thought of losing him, not after everything they had been through together. He was more than just a friend— Indigo liked him as more than a friend. She's not sure what yet but she feels everything when she talks to him.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that hung over her like a dark cloud, casting a shadow over everything she did. It was as if a part of her was missing, torn away by the cruel hand of fate, leaving behind nothing but an empty shell of who she used to be.
Indigo texted him everyday trying to get him to talk to her, at least say something, anything. Today is the last day she will sit around and wait for him to text her back, she's going to find him.
She quickly gets out of bed, changing into a pair of sweatpants and hoodie. She grabs the burner phone and walk out of her room.
She take the elevator down to Tony's lab trying to put on a fake smile. Indigo looks around to see Tony working on his Ironman suit. She walks over and sit on the table next to him.
"Well, hello there, Willow. What brings you to my humble abode today?" Tony's voice echoed through the spacious workshop as he glanced up from his work, a mischievous twinkle dancing in his eyes.
"Oh, you know me, Tony. Just couldn't resist the opportunity to witness the master at work," Indigo replied with a playful grin, taking in the sight of him surrounded by an array of futuristic gadgets and holographic displays.
"Uh huh, I bet you did. How are you feeling, kid? Anything hurting you?" Tony's concern was evident in his voice as he glanced at her, his brow furrowed slightly in worry.
